Hello. I would like to know what is the big event? I completed like 5-6 quests and I killed a few elementals… I would like to know where do I go next? Khadgar is not giving me any new quests or anything… I just recieved some [Primeval Essence] and that’s it… But where is the giant event for this xpac?
Congrats you did it, collect the the Dimmed Primeval element from each of the four boss types to combine them for an heirloom trinket, as well as get an achiev for killing all four.
That is the event, it’s similar to the Legion event.
There’s also a dungeon to do.

The prepatch events are not big. You get quests, intro to the expansion, invasions and the new evoker class and a dungeon. It is all on wowhead. The invasions are amazing on XP for leveling alts.
I’m personally going to get the trinket. Farm the mogs for cloth, leather, mail and plate and that’s about it. It won’t be fun but will keep me busy I guess. That and I want to finish the DLCs for Shadows of War and start Borderlands.
How good is it for alts? like how fast for a level?
There is none. As per usual. The events, when they happen, aren’t usually super grand events.
Just sort of fun catch up mechanics.

Most events are like an invasion or some bosses to kill. None of them are huge really
I went with my brother last night. We did the start quests and we killed two elementals’ invasions. Just the bare minimum. Didn’t sit around killing mobs just enough for the quests. I think he got like 4 levels from 52 to 56 in an hour and a bit of play time.
So not super quick, but something else to do if you don’t want to quest (if you’re good 50-60 is like 1-1.5 hours)
Alright… Well thank you all. I thought it was going to be a really fun event but I was done after 2-3 hours… Welp looks like I’m back to playing some other games. My sub ends in like 2 days. I was wondering if it was worth subbing back… but I’ll wait until the xpac
thats pretty much all there is. usually quests get released every week but with DF pre patch idk if that is the case and always it’s not a ton of quests it’s more of like leading up to the expac.
all there is to do otherwise is farm essences for mog/gear on alts and get the toy from the vendor, do the dungeon, and get the trinket. kill all 4 of the elemental bosses and your done. really not much to it. been killing the elementals for a while but yea the exp is kinda good tbh. started at 51 got to 55 pretty fast just farming for essences cause i want the gear i just hit 50 like 2 days ago on this toon.
