The plate armor in the new raid in 8.2 looks awful

I mean, plate usually looks good usually.

But what happened? Even the mythic one looks bad.

Only plate armor that looks good imho, is the purple one

It makes the mail armor look good, and the mythic mail set is horrible. That’s saying something.

I get that some naga aren’t pleasant to look at but this takes that to a whole new thing

All the raid sets are awful looking. I know they’re going for some sort of Naga-themed set, but holy crap, it’s awful.

Hopefully those models aren’t finished, and have more elements that haven’t been mined correctly.

The art team has been knocking it out of the park in BFA…
Except when it comes to armor /cry

It has finally happened. The absolute fail of BFA is finally starting to affect even the art team. Blizzard had the opportunity to get to work and make 8.2 good enough to save BFA. Now it has become fail after fail by their own choice.

To be fair the armor even in Uldir sucked. It’s as if the armor is created by a separate, newer art team.

The plate armor all of this expansion has looked terrible. Nothing looks good on dks!

“BuT tHe BoD sEt” shut up. only the mythic version looks decent, and only on trolls too.

Not to me.

I like the cloth and leather sets

You could tell me all of these sets were the same material, and I wouldn’t question it.

About the quality I would expect from this expansion, not at all surprised they all look like trash.

All of the normal/heroic sets looks as plain as leveling gear.

I wish T3 would make a come back.

The quality, the detail and resolution, is what I expect for raid armor. The designs are just awful though. I will not be coming back to farm this expansion at all.

I dearly miss class sets.

M Plate looks pretty cool.
I’ll def be collecting that set.

All the 8.2 raid armor looks like garbo.

I miss class tier sets.

Wow. Yeah that looks terribly uninspired.

Question: If the art and zone design teams begin to turn out product like the class design and story-board teams, how long can WoW last?

(It’s rhetorical and serious at the same time.)
