This is from another thread but i am going to post it again cause its true
Need to start telling everyone who doesn’t like que syncing in the badly managed regular bg brackets to do blitz.
Spread the message.
Where its by and large impossible to do so and eventually when all the solo players leave the premades will be forced to fight each other which will more than likely kill off 85% of them.
But they like fighting other premades so they should be happy to.
Maybe a year down the road you have everyone in 1 community the strongest one everyone gravitates towards cause they are lazy and take the path of least resistance. desperately tripping over each other trying to get into the same game. only to get paired against one another and the toxicity will ensue.
Some of the “communities” have already imploded at the first sign of resistance or struggle they eat each other even when the solo players are still around.
Blizzard gave us blitz for a reason its our game mode free of premades. So come and get vault slots while the premades continue to get scraps in a dying game mode.
And before somebody says you can sync blitz no no you cant and its going to get even more impossible once rating is introduced to it.
Eventually i would not be surprised if blitz blows all the other bg modes completely out of the water in participation like solo shuffle has multiplied every other arena brackets participation combined.

i been grinding a lot of blitz. its actually really fun. i cant wait for it to go rated so you can not spend time watching people do absolutely dummy things. but over-all its pretty good

I think when Blitz becomes ranked it will lose some of its allure for casuals. I have no interest in playing it and probably never will. I don’t think I am alone there. People will continue to play random/epic bgs. I don’t know if those will stay the most played type, but I wanna say yes. I say that because people play differently when a number is attached. It stops being casual and becomes about whether the number goes up or down. And that gets old sooner or later, well it does for me. I don’t think I am alone there.
Whether Blizz ever does anything about the q-syncers, Idk, maybe they do, I kinda hope they do, but what that could be I have no idea. When the premades are on my side, the game is boring, I don’t mind when I play against them though. I end up feeling like the good guy holding off a superior force of bad guys as best as I can. I do understand not wanting to play with/against premaders at all. If I could always guarantee they were never on my side and all I did was fight the cheaters (cause it is kinda cheating in a grey sorta way), I’d be very happy.
But I learned a long while ago, from someone wiser than me, that winning in a video game is having fun…I’m always winning, every single day in WoW. So I don’t much care about win/loss ratios or numbers or whatever. I’m either a Paladin fighting his best or a Druid fight his best. Easy peasy.
I hope those playing Blitz enjoy it.

The thing is epics and regular bgs are the furthest thing from friendly to casuals right now as they were made to be and instead shockingly blitz has become the casual bracket at least for the time being.
At least when you que up something rated you know it’s going to be sweaty but a mode where the only thing on the line is 25 conquest being as sweaty as they currently are comes across as cringe.

I kinda got the feeling that was Blizz’ intention. but I think the ranked thingy will affect the purity of the casual play. Maybe I am wrong. I don’t much care for the eventual ranking stuff, I just don’t care, so I’ll keep the lights on in random/epic bgs…mostly epics as I like big battles.

There’s 1 core problem, Epics are, or at least were… fun.
Blitz isn’t.
I’ve done like 3 of them and I doubt I’ll do more.
I’d much rather prefer Blizzard address the rampant exploiting they are currently turning a blind eye to and develop some integrity.
You know, that thing they keep harping on about while trying to be an e-sport yet having as much integrity as a walnut in a blender.
The only clear thing?.
We clearly need new leadership or at the very least a game director who remembers that games are meant to be fun.

Blitz is super fun unless you get BG tourists instead of an actual team. That’s what will happen as well when it becomes rated. All of the people who went to Blitz will return to epics or randoms because they’ll be fighting people who actually give a crap and want to win.
It is extremely noticeable when you have a team that licks paint chips and the enemy team is better organized. Now imagine that x10 once it becomes rated

Blitz is just a more evenly matched game mode. It better than popping into a premade epic or having no healers in a random. And for me I learn more when playing better players so I feel I get a little bit better as time goes having to play against people of my own caliber or better. I don’t really watch numbers on my screen I just play for fun and a bit more competitive play.

Some players like myself really used to like the disorganized nature of randoms.
It felt like the game could go either way at any time. I don’t believe the narrative that anyone queing “doesn’t want to win” they just don’t take 4 extra steps to ensure they win without a doubt.
And getting players who “want to win” will only increase as you get higher in rating.

It’s such a great mode, I agree. I only wish I could duo queue as double DPS with my brother who recently came into the game. I don’t want to spoil it for everyone with my lackluster healing skills. Although to be fair I like that there is a restricted solo mode like this for the rest of times. I know how unfun it is to face some mongo DPS pair that focuses perfectly.

Thing is even if you get a bad team the ques for so fast and the games play out so fast as well that it will only take like 2-5 minutes.
And another benefit i forgot to mention is the fact that you don’t need to have some guy hyperventilating over mic screeching about every little mistake you make like i’ve seen from a lot of premade leaders.

But it’s hard to not do epics I love my av

That’s a bold statement. What makes you think that?
For me, I’ll be playing Blitz a lot when it goes rated.
Only time I’ll waste in regular BGs is to gear up a new alt with the honor set and to learn how to play the new toon for a few days. I won’t do that in epic BGs because you honestly don’t learn much there other than follow a zerg around. Even if premades didn’t exist in epic BGs, I just don’t find that type of pvp fun.
Sure, you’ll gear up a bit faster in blitz when it goes rated, but you’ll lose a ton of rating trying to learn your alt.

I’m guessing what will happen. I could very well be wrong.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens.
I do know that I will just continue playing what I’ve been playing, which is the vanilla random/epics.
I’m glad that Blizz is in there trying things.

idk why they ditched old wg/tol barad /ashran in retail. They could rotate between the 3 and have a match every hour. No more than groups of 5 queueing and if you dodge your queue / miss the 5 minute window at the top of the hour you miss out. Could even implement it as cross faction so the whole q syncing becomes a non issue. Buff conquest gains, and suddenly there’s a haven solo players can look forward to.

Cross faction will not solve the queue sync problem only perma bans.

There will be never any bans. Better accept that
He won’t. He and lofimonk and the others who act like they’re some loud majority will still be here in 2040 crying about epic bg premades and calling for bans.
He’s busy right now getting skull drug on the arena forums for doing his usual shtick of crying and then calling anyone who disagrees with him trolls.
And you will never be good dooman. Better accept that.
And akatsuki will never be good but i think he’s already accepted mediocrity in the game just as he probably has in other areas.
