Well uh…okay.
Versatility is a good stat for some specs. Build towards what stats are good for your own specialisation.
Protection Warriors see Versatility as a second priority stat after Haste, close to crit.
Simming in Raidbots or Bloodmallet is a good way to find out your stat priority at a catered level, Vers sometimes increases in value when you have a lot of damage proc modifiers on trinket/ring.
This guy gets it.
No where near as efficient compared to the other three.
Raidbots, yes. Bloodmallet, no. The way bloodmallet sims is hyper borked and basically irrelevant to most situations. Big noob trap.
The problem has never been that vers is bad, but rather that vers is boring.
It’s a filler stat and it sucks.
It’s a carryover PVP compromise if you want to get nitty gritty, but unless you have another suggestion I’m not sure what you’re getting at.
Do you get a different output when you do a character sim on Bloodmallet vs raidbots?
It is. Brand new. Costs fifty cents every time you use it. Use it wisely
Can you actually sim a character on bloodmallet now? It’s always just been generic “you’re frost mage, get crit and here is trinket list”, everytime I’ve looked at it.
umm…
so uhh…
pvp gear-sets dont have versatility.
It’s so you survive M+ ![]()
Avoidance is the real key to living M+.
Yea they introduced it about two years ago actually.
I miss the PVP from back when we has resist gear.
Gearing was fun and you could feel yourself getting stronger…well more resistant.
Yes, Vers can be, and currently is, a bad stat for many specs. Last time I did a stat weight breakdown there was a larger gap between third and fourth place (Vers), than there was between first and third - and that’s with very little Vers stacked, which techinically makes the stat stronger. For me, equal ilvl pieces that do and don’t have Vers have like 300-400 DPS difference.
In that case, I’m not certain. Their character sims are likely just as good as raidbots, I just wouldn’t trust their generic stat weights/trinket tier lists.
i miss resilience.
Oh yeah not with a 10 ft pole.
Run a stat weight calc, and you’ll see that outside of Haste being very high value, vers isn’t that different from Crit and Mastery.
Your problem is a knowledge gap that you stubbornly refuse to accept.
