Ah the devs are pretty immature, they think its funny to mess people around in the name of in game events, i guess it is a game right? so game on?

If a mode has to force people to participate, it isn’t a winning feature. PvP in this game is utter trash which is why warmode participation is so abysmally low. If people enjoyed and had fun with it, they would do it simply because it existed and was fun.
If this event was so fun and awesome, it shouldn’t need those who do not wish to participate to do so. They could opt out and you’d still be able to go on your merry way.
The simple fact is you need them to be victims for your slaughter house whereas they do NOT need you for their version of fun. You are taking away their agency and/or forcing them to go way out of their way.
Having the choice is what is being argued. They have no choice but should.

They created a thread to make a suggestion which Blizzard could very easily ignore as they have done with other requests.
It’s a thread. If they have an active sub they can post. We don’t have to agree with them but they are entitled to post.

Threatening to leave / quit / stop playing during the event is the most empty threat. I’m sure enough players will come back just for this event that it will offset the people who don’t log on because of it.
Seriously, some people need to lighten up. Level later, you can only do a pre launch event once and then it is gone forever. Enjoy the zombies and do your regular stuff some other time.

Just reading this thread is making more excited for this event. The chaos! The tears! Whether you love or hate this event, you will remember it. Not sure if there’s been anything this xpac I could say that about. Glad Blizz is doing something big with this prepatch event!

I would love to see it happen OP but I doubt the Devs will make any changes. I have 0 faith in them to the fact that the last time this event was live “This will never happen again”, will not keep to that promise.
This is why I am glad i joined game in 2015. I dont wish for anytime frame prior. Legion will ALWAYS be my favorite pre-launch to any expansion in this game. This is from the XP gained from killing the demon invasions in our beloved cities without giving its inhabitants a “plague” forcing players to “play a certain way” type mentality. Also the catch up gear and allowing our Alts to level and have the best gear in slot.
Tbh, there hasnt been a pre-launch since to match it and an expansion where alts have seen the promised land, unfortunately.
