Hello,
I don’t know if I missed a step or not. I got a quest “Pillars of Creation” from the Legionhall Campaign. This requires three items to complete. One item in particular “Tears of Elune” is causing some issues.
I was able to follow the questlines in Val’Sharah, and defeat the corrupted Ysera to obtain the eye. I then followed Tyrande into the Portrait Room in the Chamber of the Guardian and was able to complete the quest from her. However, my Pillars of Creation is still showing 0/1 Tears of Elune.
I should mention I have already completed “Hammer of Khaz’goroth” for this quest. I defeated a boss in a raid and the tracker updated and appeared in the portrait room automatically.
Is there something else I need to do with the Tears of Elune to get credit for it?
The quest can be a bit misleading. You don’t actually need to do the quests to acquire the pillars and have them in the Chamber of the Guardian to do this one. (Story-wise, it assumes you did all of those, but it’s not a game requirement mechanically. Otherwise, people would need to clear all 4 quest zones on alts just for this raid quest which would not make for happy people.)
You just need to kill the appropriate raid boss in the Tomb of Sargaras raid and someone in the raid needs to click the pillar of creation that appears after the fight. It can be done on any difficulty.
Tidestone of Golganneth is after killing Mistress Sassz’ine
Tears of Elune is after killing the The Desolate Host
Hammer of Khaz’goroth is after killing Demonic Inquisition

Thank you so much for this! The quest text didn’t mention the raid at all. I only partially completed that raid too so I guess that’s why The Hammer automatically appeared.
