The PvP zone is still STV.
The 10 days notice is because of Plunderstorm, otherwise it would have been 17 days notice.

They announced a bunch of level 60 stuff as well. It seems like they noticed a lot of people were already leaving and wanted to try to build interest early in end-game SoD before it was too late.
Not sure phase 3 will really get me super interested in SoD again but we’ll see. Phase 4 seems like it’ll be up against CataC release or fairly close to it so I’m pretty skeptical SoD will be able to hold onto a large number of players for level 60 content for long.

They’re going to add new items to it as well for lvl 50, so that’s hype!

It does seem like the SOD team is so understaffed. Why else would they recycle STV?

So they want to hear feedback but we get reamed anytime coming here with anything.
Feedback generally isn’t going to be good, heads up.
Because it’s a massive success in game outside of a small bunch of forum whiners and is properly gated off if you dislike it.

Eh, it could be better; from what I’ve read, you lose Blood every time you die. If so, that needs to be removed. – Imagine the true chaos when players can just bulldoze into each other without penalty.
I hit 25 the weekend before Phase 2 was released.
Don’t think I’m going to hit 40 by launch of Phase 3.

No but I somewhat expected Blizzard to come up with a new PvP event. We had Ashenvale in phase 1 and Blood Moon in phase 2. Now they’re just recycling the PvP event.
