Nothing we do is going to changes peoples perception of us and its mostly because a good 70% of our community is filled with people who wear there toxicity on there sleeves and shove fetishes and peoples faces and demand you stop oppressing them when you ask them to stop and as stupid as that sounds yes it happens…a lot
theres more to being a furry than most people think and tbh im kinda tired of the whole “you just wana screw dogs” or something along that line kinda comments but yeah…

wait people actually care about people liking anthropomorphic animals. I was always under the impression that it was a big joke to actually hate furries. The only folks that I’ve personally seen that actually care about that are boomers or dudes with so much edge it’s not even funny.

I’m not the furry here. I’ve accepted a flamethrower is the cure.
A lot of furries are very open about how it’s a sexual thing for them. Polls conducted by furries for furries have alluded to this as well.
I don’t think you’re gonna be able to change the perception when a large section of your community agrees with or feeds into that perception.
