all my chat is turned off say,whispers,trade,general,zone and yells.there will be ban happy people when the servers come up.
for the safety of my account its not worth a ban from ban happy people.

It’s may not be new but the wording has become more vague in places than it was originally. And you JUST said “Anything can be derogatory if you use it in a way.” Therefore you proved my point. A moderator could feel something was derogatory when it was not.

My only issue is moderation will be entirely subjective and up to the personal ideology of the person doing the enforcement.

Ok but the thing is, wasn’t it blizz with a lawsuit going on because they can’t keep it in their pants there? So why are we having to sign a contract like we did something, maybe they should sign a social contract first.

friend, i think you’re just learning what it’s like to read a TOS agreement for an MMO. it’s vague so customers can’t scream obscenities, get banned, and then sue Blizzard for some breach of contract/customer purchase. blizz, i assume, can ban you for literally whatever they want, they can suspend you, etc. this is not news, and it’s not some evil LiBeRaL WoKe aGeNdA

well we dont spend all day in game. the real world wont auto block/ban/silence someone who says something you dont like, like at all its impossible. so how is sheltering somoene from reality a good thing? these ppl just need to grow up and get thicker skin or grow a spine and speak up. basically weak ppl need protecting cuz they weak willed and mentally

If you do anything with people online, majority of them seem to have come out of the bush as bushwackers or something… literally been smacking rats out of the bush to eat, drinking water outta the pee-holes. Living in trees, where do you expect them to be taught anything remotely close to being a decent human being or having a civilized countenance?
From what I imagine, these species of males are probably caught out in the wild and then brought over to some research institutes to edify them. That’s why when I come across these Ed’s, I usually just shake my head. Most of them seem to be placed together in a server called Ragnaros. But a few run out of there to Illidan and other servers. I don’t know, I just try to avoid them when I can but it can be hard at times. You can shave a man, put some good clothes on him but you can’t take the upbringing out of him, that’s how it is.

all true, valid complaints and anyone who has been following what has been going o nwit twitter over the last few years knows that moderation always becomes corrupted and needs checks and balances and very clear cut guidelines and vague guidelines that are open to abuse get abused, without fail.
