I mean my 19/29/39/49 twinks aren’t going to pay for themselves!
Being 60 means I can better aid the people in my guild. I also have to do more profession stuff than most of the people on the server, and I don’t want it interfering with my leveling.
On fresh PVP servers, character level is an arms race and not being in the first wave of 60’s means being food for the first wave.
The classic gank squads are an inexhaustible supply of joy.
I will likely level quick as I can on my DPS to hunt edgelords, but take my time on my priest.
Economically as well, you hit 60 and then either farm your mats with impunity since you’re one of the only people who can mount (let alone potentially epic mount)… Or you can go farm gold, and buy up all the underpriced mats others post early before anyone else really has gold to spend.
You are one of these elitist guy who think human being are ONLY 2 types, man and woman, aren’t you? Yes, people who plays wow are only 2 types either, casual and hardcore. /sarcasm
There are literally millions of different players play their own way, just because some of them play it less casually as their lives only permits that is not making them lesser human beings than you are.
People are really lacking of moderate acceptance in Classic forums. I believe as everyone wants to own Classic as it carries all the good memories so they don’t want anyone else spoil this experience. But, wake up people what made Classic so great was the colorful of people.
Play it on your way and let others play on their ways, this creates a strong community not the otherwise.
I’m not sure about rush but main focus for sure. Also, i’m an altaholic, so having a 60 as soon as I can to feed, gear, mats or anything else, for me makes all my alt leveling a lot more fun.
You seem confused… Very confused. I don’t care one bit whether you (or any other people) are a casual player(s) or not. I care about this weirdo mentality where upon casuals feel this overwhelming need to constantly post about how casual they are as is if it’s some kind of bizarre competition while trying to pretend like everyone else not adhering to their arbitrary level of casualness or playstyle is somehow wrong for doing so.
As for your gender definition comment… That was even weirder for you to randomly interject into this discussion and I don’t wish to derail this thread going down that particularly stupid and off topic rabbit hole.
Because I like the content at 60 more then the 1-60 content
Here are a few GOOD reasons why rushing to 60 could be prefered.
You out level the majority and thus have more space. No respawn camping quest mobs, fighting for resources ect.
You get to grind your high level materials with fewer competitors for awhile. Devilsaur, thaurium, black lotus.
You can establish a hold on the market. Like producing bags and selling them on the AH. Or those craftable quest items that will be needed.
You can get a head start on having a monopoly or long cooldowns. Arcanite bars and mooncloth. Quivers and soul bags. Fire resist potions ect.
You can rush to 60 on toon 1 and enjoy your alts at a slow pace with the crowd gone.
You can start that rep grind early with out being bothered.
You can create a name for yourself easier by using all that time you have b4 the majority hit 60 wisely.
This.
Good list, I’d also add that it also typically results in more or better guild/grouping opportunities at level cap. Your server’s top guilds are typically formed from people who level cap earlier, and then raid together because they’re the only people at level cap to raid with.
I’d double that sentiment if you are a less desirable spec /class (like ret) or one with a lot of competition (rogue)… You can stand out and get yourself invited to things just by being one the only options early on.
Ahh, here we go again, the elitist Åpocalypse-illidan own the forums, we casuals should never write on HIS own forums. I can write where , when or what ever I want to. I will not argue more with you as it is not going well, and it will be soon personal. I don’t want to get silence or something just because some elitist dislikes my opinions. The title was directly attracted me and I responded, move on, it is not good for your heart, I will leave you alone with your anger. /ignored
Some people find the endgame more fun than leveling. No harm in that.
You’ve obviously never watched Pokemon… “I want to be the very best,
Like no one ever was. To catch them is my real test, To train them is my cause!”
This is a life message. GET FIRST OR DIE. GO BIG OR GO HOME. You think this is a game?
What in the world?..Take your meds… or perhaps just go and speak with a mental health professional. I legitimately have no idea what point you are trying to make, and I’m not convinced you do either… You’re trying to play the whole “intolerance” card on me, when I’ve specifically and repeatedly said I don’t care one bit whether or not a player chooses to play the game casually. If anything my posts in this thread have specifically been against intolerance of more hardcore player play styles, while also finding a bit of absurdity in how some casual players are seemingly trying to “out casual” one another. So your rants here are misguided at best.
You weren’t arguing with me before as much as just "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"ing for some indiscernible reason… but ok, good bye/good riddance I guess? As for it being personal…? Ehh, for it to be personal I’d have to remember your name for more than a minute or two after I post, and hell I didn’t even remember your name for the duration of typing this. I have no idea what in the hell you are so upset about, but regardless I do hope that everything works out well for you and what ever is going on you get the help you need.
I’m so sorry
I wouldn’t necessarily say it defeats the purpose of Classic WoW, people can find and make their own purpose. But I do think Classic will be intended for the casual leveling crowd. Simply because there’s far more content for that, than there is end game, and as of now there are no plans we know of to add more content. I think the min/max best in slot seeking raiders are going to get tired of no new content pretty quickly.
Well, not for nothin’ but it seems like most of the people here are planning to roll on a pvp server.
On a pvp server you either rush to 60 or you spend the entire leveling experience getting ganked by people who rushed to 60. It’s your only chance to experience early contested zones without a 60 rogue corpse camping you in sun rock, or a 60 hunter safespotting you with his pet in ashenvale.
