They intentionally used an image we would recognize so we keep guessing and hyping up a limited time event in the hopes it lessens the backlash when it’s a total cluster**** next Tuesday.

Oh, it’s definitely going to be. But I guess at least we know it will be a pirate themed mess for sure now.
At this point, I can’t remember the last time we had a smooth patch day.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my like 15 years playing this game, it’s that the community reads into, and cares way more about details Blizzard just placed their purely for artistic reasons.
Boralus is just a fitting background to a Pirate theme patch teaser. It doesn’t mean it has anything to do with Boralus.

Still pirates, as everyone’s been saying since the roadmap was revealed.
Pirates vs ninjas has been my theory from the start and I guess I might as well stick with it through to when we find out.
That was literally my favorite part of the expansion
