Okay you won me over with this one lol
Maybe it’s blizzard redemption for doing it wrong with slyvanas
I still think the light itself is going to get a heavy dose of villain batting, but blizz will most likely use Turalyon as the meditator, as he saw first hand what blind loyalty can do to a person.
You know, never really stopping to actually question X’era and her motives ![]()
To be fair Xera brainwashed him. I mean originally it was stated the naaru can see through your soul and can tell of you are lying. Which is why the natherzim had difficulty infiltration. That stuff scares me man like being able to brainwash you into this monk lifestyle is scary
I think he’s the middle point between Calia and Yrel. He may yet realize that the Lightbound (and the Scarlet Crusade) gave the ability to be super evil if left unchecked.
That would on brand for Warcraft.
I think my bias comes also from the fact I don’t want khadgar to get hurt losing his friend turaylon to madness he’s suffered enough
Even when she was in shattered pieces, he still never questioned her or her motives. Which makes his whole situation even worse
Honestly yeah that an example of where I’m wrong but the brainwashing part is pretty sad because there is no conflict between alleria and turaylon.
I think we’re all saying basically the same thing here just differently. Turaylon definitely learned his lesson in following a higher authority and not questioning motives that are clearly wrong.
Even Velen said Xe’ra was out of line with what she tried to do to Illidan and that the Naaru often forced him to make decisions he normally wouldn’t have made on his own. ![]()
To be fair, he also said Illidan was out of line for his extreme reaction, but velen understood why Illidan did what he did.
Anyways the venthyr are awesome. I want a venthyr ability on my blood Draenei dk
I like the Maldraxxi ability for hunters. Plus with the second legendary you get in Zerith Mortis, it explodes on contact.
Makes a great AoE solution to most of my problems ![]()
See this is what I like about the warrior and hunter class fantasy you can go any covenant as opposed to paladin and Druid you have to go bastion for pally and Druid doesn’t feel right not going ardenweald
Honestly I just hope the Order of Embers turns up in Lordaeron.
No particular reason beyond my own desire to sinisterly whisper;
'You are far from home, Witch Hunter"
I would LOVE to see some sh*t go down with the scarlets. THAT would be Warcraft story that I am here for. Hook Line and Sinker here for.
Greymane flat out doesn’t trust her.
Jaina’s brother isn’t exactly prime dating material among ladies that still draw breath. Nor are either of them exactly welcome in the Alliance any more especially with Anduin not around to speak for her.
that’s what is up in the air, we will have to wait and see. his actions in Shadow’s Rising and in A Hundred years War and Legion were all questionable but they leave room for doubt. Yes he does bad things for the Light but he also internalizes those bad choices and often times agrees in the consequences to those actions. You are right, they have a vehicle with Turalyon to approach this in a constructive manner and not just vilifying him.
So we don’t slap a stat block on him.
It can be done, as an eternal power looming overhead, never confronting us directly but always sending agents against us. We never actually win and take off the head, we can only chop the fingers everytime they come to poke us.
That’s great if we’re playing Call of Cthuluu. That’s not the game that Warcraft fans signed up to play.
I’ve played that RPG, it’s generally accepted that whatever character you create is either going to die horribly or spend the rest of their days inan insane asylum, because
CoC is NOT heroic fantasy by any stretch of the imagination, Horror generally isn’t.
The reason the Horror genre works as it does is that the protagonists aren’t super warriors, magicians, powerful cleric, what have you. They’re ordinary blokes that are nowhere near prepared for what they’re going face.
I mean good point. However it is getting tired that we either win all the time or get played a patsy. I’d like something formidable again. Like we aren’t played for fools but our might isn’t necessarily going to ensure the victory.
Really thinking you’re reading too far into this. Even Anduin uses Shadow magic. Every Priest wields the magics of heart anf soul in their own way.
At any rate I always mained a Undead Disc Priest and never felt weird about that nor using the other specs.
I think you’re getting too caught up in the mechanics and not the class fantasy of being your people’s spiritual Shephard.
Suffice to say when playing S Priest in Horrific Visions my mood was more;
“I FEAR NO EVIL, FOR I AM FEAR INCARNATE - BY MY FURY THEY SHALL KNOW THE FORSAKEN!”
I kinda feel like you’re treating Priests like they’re Mages. And they fight with vibes, not knowledge.
