The Owl House

Latest Disney animated series by Dana Terrace, with heavy involvement from Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls) and Molly Knox Ostertag (the wife of Noelle Stevenson, from the new and awesome She-Ra).

There’s a lot of Gravity Falls in this show, including the underlying mysteries of the setting and main characters. Great characters, fun story, some stellar animation at times.

Go watch it. Or discuss. Grom night dancin’!

I take it it’s only available on Disney+ then? I’ll have to pass.

Edit: What’s the show about? Like Gravity Falls was a show about a brother and sister spending a summer with their Great Uncle at his curio shop/tourist trap. Mysterious shenanigans ensue. Very much an X-Files for kids that teens and adults can enjoy too.

“Adults are only kids grown up anyways.” Walt Disney

Sadly not even D+. Perhaps one day, so keep an eye out.

From Disney: “The Owl House is an animated fantasy-comedy series that follows Luz, a self-assured teenage girl who accidentally stumbles upon a portal to a magical world where she befriends a rebellious witch, Eda, and an adorably tiny warrior, King.”

If GF compares to X-Files, Owl House is kinda-sorta Harry Potter-ish, except a) from the perspective of characters who are initially outcasts and b) it’s actually good unlike Harry Potter.
