Agreed with the call to rename it to WoW 2.0 because it’s headed in the same direction as overwatch. 11.0 will be a bloodbath. Glad I have not bought the expansion yet, the first one I might not play since launch. I’d go back and re check all the meat riders who told everyone “they’re not removing addons” after Ion’s last fireside gaslight but it’s honestly not worth it. Plenty of games out there.
Existing addon devs should brick their addons. These people have kept the game alive for two decades. Thanks guys, welcome to corporate culture, they don’t care about their customers or their supporting community.

I agree, the game would have been unplayable for over a decade without addons.
Without addons, this game really isn’t going to be able to retain its current playerbase.

Blizzard has killed every franchise lol, look at diablo 4, everyone was so hyped but the game was so bad that no one kept playing after what… 2 weeks. Wow will be next.
Same. A few of the folks I keep in touch with have server-first titles from WOTLK such as grand crusader and none of them have bought this steaming pile yet. We member these reworks. We know.
