1 otter to base out of the 4 I tried. The things wig out and just run around endlessly.

Reported the issues with this ridiculous quest in beta. Was ignored.
Doesn’t always work. Hit it 9 times to get one otter under control and it just ran around in circles, unresponsive. Was like this in beta.
That’s super sweet of you to think people didn’t see that button. But even clicking it on cooldown my otters were spazzing out. I gave up on the first one I found.
I thought the herding quests were bad. I was incorrect. It got worse.
I finished it in under 4 minutes so was confused, also you can’t assume anything in this forum people by nature are dumb.

I dunno, I kind of like otter rodeo. I mean, it is a wild animal that we’ve suddenly jumped onto the back of, grabbed a handful of fur, and spurred it in the ribs; I’d be running in circles too if some humanoid jerk pulled me out of my burrow and did that.

Press 1 does nothing, the stupid thing runs in circles or in some otter random direction.
When you press 1 it will immediately come under your control and continue whatever direction it was facing if using ANY of the movement methods; It’s movement is not camera locked as most players are probably used to. You need to steer it and then move again.
Did you actually participate in the controls for the quest like you’re supposed to?
I actually had only minimal issues when an otter got stuck in a rock
lol, I was wondering if people would complain about this one which I always found more annoying than the herding sheep one.
Well I just tried that and the stupid thing runs opposite to where it was pointed.
idk ive seen the complaints but i had no issue with this quest the otter freaked out, hit one, went on
my biggest gripe is how long it takes to get back
Are you pressing 1 at the appropriate time? Timing is everything
