The option to revert to the old interface

I understand that I might be the only one asking for this, but could Blizzard add the option to revert to the old classic interface? While the new interface is customizable, it’s never perfect for me. Every second I play, I notice something incorrectly positioned, looking off, etc. I play on a laptop, which adds inconvenience it feels like laptop screens weren’t considered during development, nothing fits, elements overlap. When I entered Cataclysm, I was pleased with the game’s interface everything fit and looked harmonious. I would really like them to add the ability to revert to the standard interface.

You can download classic style templates from wowhead. They are as close as you can get, but unfortunately it won’t be exactly the same.

I just took the time to learn how to use edit mode, made one pretty close, it’s also beneficial to have that ability.

I don’t want to change the game with third-party files I even constantly want to remove necessary add-ons. I’ve always been satisfied with the classic interface they removed it without the option to return to it, and I would like such an option. It fit all screens. The new interface is very difficult to adjust for the size of my laptop.

It’s not the same, it’s a string of code designed to be imported, and exported from the standard Blizzard UI in edit mode. To give you a reference, here is mine. Please be aware I designed this for a 55" display, doesn’t quite fit on my laptop just right. And I love buttons, lots and lots of buttons, So turn on extra action bars 1 - 5.

It looks nice, but not everything fits.

A tweak here and there might get you what you want, as i said, just a reference. Edit mode isn’t too difficult, just takes a little time to play with it.

I understand that, I’ve adjusted it somewhat, but it’s not the same. I’ll have to try the Bartender addon I’ve been told it can bring back the old interface. It’s worth checking out.
Although I’m against overloading the game with addons.

Click on ‘Game Menu’.
Click on ‘Edit Mode’.
Click on the yellow arrow under ‘Layout’ for the drop down menu.
You will see options for ‘Modern (preset)’ and ‘Classic (preset)’.
Click on 'Classic (preset).

yea i dont like addons for a lot of stuff but if theres ways to get around stuff
and its ez like an addon might as well. just wish wow did more w/ the ui or more qol

Is this some kind of joke? It just changes the position of the frames, nothing more. I found an addon ClassicUI now, and it did everything right.

This addon is exactly what anyone wanting to revert back to the old ui looking for.

If you’re ok with the old art then that addon is perfect, but if anyone wants to use the old layout with the new art I think only Bartender can do that.

I’m the opposite. I really like the classic mini-map (upper-right), but I vastly prefer the stacked action bars and bags/non-action stuff on the lower right.
