The only thing irritating me

Is when someone taps your mob, runs into many others and it somehow throws you into combat with them. So, when they either die or run out of range of the mobs, they decide to turn around and go for you or your group.

This needs to be fixed, it’s done nothing but create a tool for people to grief. If I didn’t face pull or attack the mob, I shouldn’t be in combat with it. End of the story.

Hmmm… need to try this.

Are you kidding? That’s the ye olde vanilla train gang! Those are some of the best moments. You think everything’s chill … then some other dude’s train gang runs through and roflstomps you. Lol … that’s great stuff! :rofl:

Yes it happens. If you can just run away before it happens, drop aggro and start over.

The point is it shouldn’t. Why should I be killed by mobs I never engaged with a face pull or attacking myself (or my group doing it)?

Trains were a legit part of the old game-- a holdover from Everquest.

People need to respect others space bubbles. Those mobs are like bees, they don’t care who is attacking them, they just want to protect the queen.

Normally, when people are greed pulling I just back out. The moment I get in combat with a mob thats not mine, either help kill it or run immediately.

Because that’s how it worked in Vanilla. Them the breaks.

Blizzard shouldn’t be making any sort of impacting adjustments that changes how Classic differs from Vanilla for a good long time, if ever.

then go back to retail. Classic doesn’t seem to be for you.

@OP

I really don’t want to be confrontational here, but I have to give an emphatic ‘no’ to your post. Changes like the one you are asking for eventually lead to the problems that plague modern wow. Yes, there are ways that players can exploit the system to be annoying. It’s much like life. Most people won’t though, and it’s not hard to avoid them. Really, if you want a game where a lot of issues like this were addressed (much to my chagrin), retail is available, and it really is the more fun option for some, which I am fine with.

No, people ought to, but forcing everyone to have a safe space little bubble is a horrible, terrible, disasterous idea.

but you are a hunter… I forget at that level but you will get FD soon… hunters and rogues are more or less immune to stuff like this because of FD for hunters and Vanish for rogues.

If you were doing a quest in a real world and enemies started pursuing someone else but then saw you along the way, wouldn’t they logically come after you next?

You shouldn’t make requests to take difficult things out of the game. Besides, there are ways to cope with this.
