Is waiting for vault rewards and new weeklies on alts…
In Legion I was excited to quest and explore and the gearing/artifact grind felt good. Now? I slam some keys and fill vault a little just enough to get me a piece at least that upgrades a slot on a character and call it good then play something else or help others with keys…
Anyone else in the same boat?

Why do people hate it so much? You did raid but got no loot except a point you could spend on your artifact and gain SOMETHING at the very least.
Why is that so bad?
Don’t forget to visit the world outside of the World of Warcraft when you feel like youre not enjoying your time spent in the World of Warcraft.
For me its hitting the gym
One of the biggest complaints was too much required content. I don’t want to have to worry about something like that. It EXTRA sucks for anyone that takes a break from the game too. So much catchup.
MMO’s will always have catch up to do, it’s in the nature. People coming in late to day 1 of DF are having to catch up to people who are 415+ average ilvl and being denied to keys because their first time 70’s aren’t above 370.
As someone who likes to gain and progress in power/gear DF leaves me to pretty much slave away at trying to farm high end keys for any chance at upgrades. As I get higher I just default to filling vault for those upgrades weekly.
Why does that mean it has to be terrible?
I feel the same way as you, that is why I am back to Classic. DF was cool for awhile but I found the content to be shallow.
See this is why some people tell me to go play GW2 again… They tell me I don’t need to worry about gear there and just enjoy the story and world… But for me personally that isn’t good, I want to GAIN power for my time spent, I want progression with gear, level or stats to pump more numbers or survive longer.
I’d advocate a paragon level system within WoW along side seasonal resets but that’ll just create another gate keep for the 0.1% people to abuse over everyone else who plays less… So there is just no winning here.
Btw all classic is, is just a PvP crap house with RPG elements added these days. You get 60, get your BiS and just run around camping lesser players, after you get that there is no reason to even LOG IN anymore for classic. At least with retail you could go mog farm or do some collections more than you can for classic.
I get you like it but the fact of the matter is that it’s one of the things that was killing the game.
Then what’s your take for power gain in future expacs? Or are we all just stuck making alts?

I actually do mean that… I always looked forward to increasing artifact power over anything else.
Call me crazy, but I to also miss the Artificial power systems. It gave you something that you were always working towards. Even if you didn’t do group content, or raid, or constantly spam mythic+ keys. You could and would always be upgrading your character. Little by little. There was always a sense of you working towards something.
Now we have… spamming mythic+ keys, and doing raids… and weeklies to progress your character. Whats the major thing about this expansion? Oh… that’s right… Dragon riding. That’s it. Everything else is the same old thing, besides dailies because enough people complained they didn’t want to play the game so blizzard obliged for some reason and made it so they don’t have to play the game they didn’t want to play at the detriment to those who do want to play.
Heck, we don’t even know the story behind how these Primalists came to be… or how they found out about a proto-drake that was locked away in a cell before the time of mortals even began. But boy is everyone so glad we don’t got no AP…

YES. 100% correct. Nothing in Dragon Flight feels rewarding except the vault.
So why play it if you dont enjoy it only the vault thats once a week and its not guaranteed to have what your looking for
