Vanilla classic → TBC classic → Wotlk classic → MoP classic → Legion classic
Just skip the bad expansions that will be dead servers anyway.

As much as I loved legion (I could never get into MOP), I don’t really have any interest in replaying legion.
None of the expansions are Classic WoW.
If we are doing that then TBC shouldn’t be on the list.
There is a reason it was blitzed through in 1 year.
When will we get WoD and BfA classic? Those are after all the best expansions.
Legion Classic: We’re going to make some changes aimed at lessening the RNG of legendaries and lessen the AP grind with more predictable and engaging systems.
Classic forums: “wTf I wAnTeD LeGiOn CLASSIC!”
Nope.
It should be the original trilogy before ATVI ruined it and some additional horizontal progression OSRS style.
No such thing. There is the Original Game and the retail expansions.
False.
The original trilogy is the bread and butter lore/storyline of all previous Warcraft games before wow.
Just because you only like vanilla doesn’t change this fact
That’s nonsense. You like playing retail’s expansions. I like playing Classic WoW.
I’m playing wrath for pvp. My main game is vanilla. But guess what? There are no good options right now.
You still dodged the fact that the trilogy is classic because of it’s anchored story
An obsession with WC3 Heroes isn’t a story. That trash started in tbc and continues now in the shadowlands. But thank you for providing another reason why the expansions arent Classic WoW.
Cata is not bad.
You’re arguing with a dude that plays on not only a dead game mode (Era), but plays on a cluster subset that is dead relative to the rest of the Era clusters. Dude doesn’t even raid even in Era. There’s no point talking to someone like him lol
I’m not fully disagreeing with you, however what defines an expansion as good and not good is kind of subjective. For me I absolutely loved (and hated…) cataclysm as well as warlords of draenor, there was a lot of good and a lot of bad in those two but none the less for me personally those were amazing expansions and I met a lot of people id consider family now in those two.
Pandas killed wow
He deserves a little dose of reality because all he does is troll posts trying to promote a server that will never, ever in a million years be popular.
His coping mechanism is claiming everything except his dead server to be retail
I agree. The subjective part is 100% true and those that hate certain expansions are like star wars fans that tear apart the movies instead of taking them at face value and enjoying them.
No xpac is perfect. Mop to me was bad because it was centered around a orc on too much steroids that shrunk his head. Legion felt like a continuation of cata because of the pillar storyline.
Bfa got exhausting although the first raid was great and refreshing.
I dont mind if they stroll down the memory lane and redo with changes the expansions. Each one had fun parts you can enjoy even though people say this or that killed the game the millions of people that played those games say other wise.
tbh i dont think they should just keep remaking expansions i just think its kind of lazy, vanilla tbc and wrath reflect a time in wow where it was constantly on the rise they should either end it here or I would like to see them branch off and make new content off the old games formula or make warcraft 4 post lich kings demise. There are questions about wow in my head that i ponder over like how good WoD could have been if it was done right or while mist of pandaria was a good expansion it could of been like the best of all time if it wasn’t “Mists of Pandaria”.
I would like to see them take the Classic formula to new places i think it would answer alot of questions to alot of the people who left post wrath and cata did the game stray in the wrong direction from a design standpoint and why did it lose so many of us through out the years. classic has brought alot of people back to reminisce about a joyful sometimes toxic relationship we had with this game.
