The one good thing about the game currently... other than fruit. Is Alliance High Elves

Everyone who’s old school knows that the High Elves were and are alliance and that the Blood Elves were a pathetic knock off excuse to get more people to play Horde. Finally, after the upcoming update the High Elf will be rightfully restored to it’s proper place in World of Warcraft as Alliance WITH BRITISH ACCENTS! Hah. You Blood Elves think you can be High Elves with your Californian valley girl speak, British accent is the only way. The only thing Blood Elf has is the Paladin, big woop dee doo! Warrior > Paladin anyway, the light is lame.

Leveling up my Lady High Elf warrior and it feels good. The Blood Elf is now VOID!

They have to be Alliance and sound British? Man, HEs just can’t catch a break, can they?

What are you talking about? There are no playable High Elves.

With the way Warcraft III’s story went there was no way High Elves were gonna be Alliance bro.

Putting them on Horde was a stretch but it did make sense story wise with the Forsaken Arc they got in Ghostlands, ontop of considering the Sylvanas connection.

It was either they were gonna go Horde or be unplayable, with Quel’thalas being a Suramar like zone.

Canon High Elves / Void Elves are only Alliance cause they had nowhere else to turn. They were both exiled by Silvermoon.

You know how all this talk about High Elves sound like right ?

And news to some, many of us dont care about it.

I loved the time when Dire Maul was a thing, and when it became “great again”, but high elves to many are just a nice piece of lore there where they are.

My first TBC toon was a Blood Elf Warlock, I dont like Elves that much, but I dont hate them.

The garbage people come up high elves is boring though.

Your high elfs are literally blood elfs who turned into a knock off and then get some hair tints wtf

Weak bait 1/10. Actually, 0/10 because your hat looks stupid.

Ya buddy, a few straggling High Elves that either didn’t return to Quel’thalas or were exiled out due to not conforming do not equal their people as a whole, they were a pretty clear minority.

I, under my own free will, am glad that there are Alliance High Elves. I am hope Blizzard gives them paladins next. High Elves are the best I am not being threatened to say this by any High Elf supporters.

Please they’ve taken my family I need help

I like that they joined the Horde. Since when do elves ever ally with orcs in any story? It’s so much more interesting and unique this way!

And the tag on your name still says “void elf” :smirk: Your British accent can’t hide the truth!

The irony coming from a void elf is staggering. If void elves can be a playable race with their lore, so much so the high elves.

The official canon lore is that playable Void Elves are Blood Elves that were exiled for dabbling in the Void.

However, Danuser pretty much soft-confirmed that the High Elf Wayfarers & Silvermoom Scholars are being allowed to join their ranks, hence the justification for normal skin tones/blue eyes.

You can say your Void Elf player character is a High Elf if you want. there’s nothing wrong with that. Void Elves & Blood Elves are both genetically High/Thalassian Elves at their core. It’s basically the difference between a Darkspear & Sandfury Troll, they’re both still Trolls.

All I’m saying is that Blood Elves as a government/entire people being Alliance for TBC would not have made sense.

No one has said people wanted the blood elves to join the Alliance. People specifically want HIGH ELVES. The one who sans WoD have actively participated/been members of the Alliance.

I know that. Heck, I’m even one of the guy who got a response from him regarding said topic.

That isn’t what we talking about here. What I am specifically criticizing you is the idea the high elves(who number at the very least as much as the void elves) could not be “Alliance” when nearly every depiction of them in lore has been as member of the Alliance.
