They must have been so worried all these years trapped in prisons. All Sargeras had to do was find Azeroth and it’s all over for them. They owe us

… what is this post? Do you think the Old Gods are gonna be grateful to us? They’re eldritch gods of chaos bent on corrupting everything and everyone. If anything, they see us as useful suckers.

Does the leech thank the wildebeest for fighting off the animals that might eat it from its hide? Does the tapeworm thank the human for eating more nutritional food and pooing in public toilets for it to spread? Does the zomboid fungus thank the anything for spreading its apocalypse?

The Old Gods are parasites who use Azeroth and any world they inhabit for their own gain and amusement and seem to care little for anything else. They would have exploded into space if Sargeras destroyed Azeroth and fled to another world to repeat the cycle. They are endless and inevitable…

I think they knew that it was a likely outcome that the people who had beaten most of their servants, as well as most of them. Even if they were worried, they’re not gonna bother to thank us for doing what they hoped.

The Souls corrupted by the Emerald Nightmare in Barrowknoll Cemetery accuse us of disrupting the balance and allowing Death a foothold by getting rid of the Burning Legion.
