The Nokhud dungeon is the worst designed dungeon ever

Its pretty much a Keep up or luck out.

Absolutley a BS dungeon that needs a simpler redesign especially on that last boss because if you dont keep up with the rest, your stuck outside waiting for the rest to kill the boss, while your sitting there being raged at by the group.

You can use your dragon to get around, though.

It’s one of the most straightforward dungeons they’ve ever designed though? Mount up, aim in the general direction of the next boss, ascend once, dash twice and boom you’re there

The dungeon is fine.

I still hate it though. I can dislike things that are perfectly fine to everyone else.

This is most dungeons though. It feels worse right now cuz everyone is rushing normal/heroic so hard.

When people get to keys that are actually dangerous they aren’t going to be pulling while people are missing. But yeah they will probably still gripe at you if you still haven’t figured out the basics of dragonriding by then.

Yeah that’s the problem. It’s designed for dragonriding, so people have to synergize with their landings or waste tremendous amounts of time trying to figure out where to regroup.

Is pressing whirling surge that difficult ?

I literally just double jump then mash 1 until we arrive at the next boss and hope that I don’t crash land into a pack of mobs.

Are you mad because you don’t want to learn where to land? I don’t understand the problem.

Or wait 10s after the tank takes off before you do, and then land on the tank.

I think it’s a fantastic dungeon. All the fights feel thought out and the design being an alternate world of Ohn’Ahran Plains is pretty cool. The boss fights have mechanics that are easy to understand but aren’t just “stand here and hurr durr” and the scale of it FEELS like a true experience of going on a mission to do something important.

Aside from getting shot down by the lightning (which is avoidable) how does someone fall behind the group getting to the final boss?

The dungeon is fine in my book except how when you advance on the last boss you gotta wait for the ai to get a sort of barrier up or lightning strikes you from the sky grounding you.

Im frustrated becuase i get locked out of the final boss fight due to thunderstorms, and i have no idea how to get to it, so im stuck outside the boss fight entirely

My wife was still learning dragonriding after upgrading her PC this last week in order to handle the mechanics of it and this dungeon basically killed her interest in delving into them with me.

Can’t really agree more.

I’m not 100%, but depending on where you’re flying from and how fast you’ll be hit at different places, ending you up in different areas. And two, if you’re late and didn’t see the skips you’ll struggle getting to boss.

Technically easily solvable problems, but ya know, beginning of expac and all that.

Oh I see. That can happen and I am sorry you had a bad time. My way to preventing this problem is that as soon as the previous boss is done, I mount up and pay very close attention to where the tank is going. There’s a side entrance and a front entrance, I follow them very closely to make sure I don’t get left behind because I don’t know which entrance the group is going to unless I’m right with them when we get to the dismount area.

The dungeon is a breath of fresh air. There’s a path of tornados for you to follow and if you have trouble with DR you can always use the taxi option with another player. All Blizzard did was change the way you’re use to moving around in a dungeon that’s it.

To add to this you could also just ask the tank which entrance they plan to use.
