I think the issue is that the beta is small scale BUT they decided to make it very public with live streams.
This makes great advertising sense.
At the same time it fosters jealousy and resentment from the masses because many who want to play can only watch.

As for me. . . I think there is enough enjoyment and brotherhood on the forums to keep me joyfully occupied well in to September.
I agree. I was salty about not getting beta, but I feel like going in fresh when the actual servers launch will be a better experience.
Again. Classic doesn’t need advertisement. Classic is what made Wow the best MMO on the market.
