How does anyone farm this rep without wanting to stick needles in their eyes?
Any tips on how to make it bearable? I’m trying to unlock Nightborne before SL hits.
I think the restriction’s going to be lifted when SL hits or pre patch. Not sure.
But doing the main questline gives a ton of rep. I think this and Highmountain are the easiest. And since you outgear the content, you don’t have to suffer being found and tracked down by powerful Elites, then killed.
Back then it was a pain, lol.
With the double rep gains doing the story line should get you most of the way there. Nightborne is the fastest to get and i felt suramar had great lore if you’ve never experienced it.
Just do the quests.
Just doing the story already gets you most of the way there. I know because I did it three times in the past couple months to grab the order hall sets I missed.
With the rep buff you’d only have to do half of the story.
It was a lot better during Legion, because the area originally started as this beautiful city and over time you got to see the Legion take over and leading to the full assault.
Now it’s just full assault all the time at the front.
I’m usually all for lore, and I’m trying to make the most of the double rep, but it feels much more tiring than the other races.
I also only have one quest up at the moment, and that’s to reach Revered and then return. I’m assuming that unlocks the rest? Otherwise there’s absolutely nothing else in the zone (apart from the daily chest thing).
The reputation restriction is going away, but you still have to complete the story quests.
And by the time you finish the story quests you’ve pretty much already hit exalted.
Nope, That quest isn’t part of the storyline at all.
What was the last quest you did for the story?
It took me maybe two days, from starting the zone to finishing the Save Suramar chain. And not only was I exalted but had gotten two emmisaries from it.
You just start the chain and with the rep buff, you should be good. I think I maybe had to farm some extra ancient mana for an hour or two, but that was really about it.
-.- No way. Seriously?
I can’t remember the name and I’m not online at the moment, but I had a bunch of quests in the city.
All the quests are in the city.
I just did it on an alt and the Suramar world quests give way more rep than they used to. I don’t know if they changed it just because Legion is no longer current or if there’s a boost for alts if a player already did the grind once though. If it’s the former, it won’t take you very long.
I can’t think of what I’m missing, then. There aren’t any other available quests.
Yes. They doubled Legion rep gains in BfA and now there’s a BfA/Legion rep buff so should be immensely faster than in Legion
I did some snooping in your achievements, and it looks like you stopped before finishing the Blood and Wine arc.
Just look through these and find the one you haven’t finished yet. That will tell you where to pick the story back up.
But seriously, there is so much story left. You’re not even halfway through.
Suramar is the best zone in this game. I don’t know how anyone could possibly hate it that much. Doing espionage in the city was one of the coolest things.
or… just do something else till pre-patch in like a week or so? lol all rep requirement’s are being removed for all allied races
Thank you, I’ll give this a go! Hopefully I can pick it back up.
Ehhh, I hope it doesn’t take too long.
The different arcs of the quest chain have a wait period between them and won’t show up until the day after you finish the previous arc.

Nope. They fixed that halfway through Legion.
Now the only requirement is finishing the last quest.

This is not true. The timegating was removed. You should be able to power through the missions without having to do any grinding/waiting.
