Here I’m talking about a new mmorpg titled “Tarisland.” Purported to be the new Wow killer. Stop. Don’t start yelling at me yet. Let me explain. I happened to be surfing Youtube videos about Wow and came across a video titled the new Wow Killer. Which proclaimed to be the new World of Warcraft Killer. There were more videos concerning this new game. But to me it really looked like the most blatant rip-off of Wow with slightly different graphics. The art style was reminiscent of “Zelda Call of the Wild” But a little more realistic.
I almost broke out laughing. This for all intents and purposes was Wow with a different coat of paint. This just became a short passing interest so I looked at some trailers, game play etc. for a few minutes then wondered; why would a studio publish a game that was a (I got the feeling) watered down version of Wow and claim it was a new Wow killer?
I couldn’t even believe that it has gender locked classes? Am I missing something here.
What’s up with this travesty?
It’s so poorly run that they allowed private invitation emails to be given out publicly, thereby allowing anyone to enter the game beta and locking out the actual people who were invited.
Only game I think will have a shot at being the infamous WoW Killer will be the Riot MMO and even then I think it will mostly become a thing where younger players will drift to Riot’s and older players will stick to WoW.
This game has such an oddly loyal playerbase that shifts between wanting the game to die while still playing it and spamming “WoW is back” after every expansion announcement, so I think WoW might as well be eternal at this point.
Oh, here we go! Remember when they said “New World” was gonna do that?
I’m not crazy fanboyin’ here, I’m just saying more or less the same thing has been said before and did not work.
Sorry, sir and/or madam. Your trolling failed. I’m consistently telling people they aren’t married to this game and I’ve been playing more Palia than WoW these past months, along with Old Republic and I used to play Rift more than WoW, as well.
It’s a shame you don’t understand common phrases and had to get so weird about it.
