I know we are following vanilla but this really a bad idea. They are essentially level 62 skills and there are a few for each class. They are selling for 500-900g on the AH. This is ridiculous. A new skill in a raid that some are not doing yet, so the raiders get stronger and the people that need to catch up the most get further behind. Everyone at 60 could benefit from those books, even fresh 60’s.
Ridiculous.
It is my only hope that nobody will care in a few months and they will be 10g each.

Give it a little time. The more people farm AQ the more books that will drop the lower the price will drop.

2 to 3 books per boss, 3 books per class, reasonably 3 weeks of resets before basically every book that drops goes to alts/hits the AH.
The shaman books are such a huge damn letdown i don’t have to worry about it.
Unless you’re on a dead server, you can easily pug AQ20 every reset. There is lots of useful catchup gear in there for all classes, so it shouldn’t be an issue for you to get in there and farm the books.
They will continue to drop in price. Supply will increase faster than demand (mains + alts being made).

See that’s your problem, i don’t try and justify my spot with enhance. And the bonus is about as much as improved weapon totems would be if it wasn’t broken. (which is negligible even when it works).

Don’t worry you’ll only be laughed at for about two weeks or so due to bad books. Then all will be well again… Patience.
No i mean they’re just actually not good in general. Kind of like enhance shaman in raids. Maybe strength if you’re sitting on enhanced totems is worth it, otherwise they’re not. Shock damage is a terrible waste of mana anyways.
Month from now… 4g for dumb books, 50-100 for useful once. It’s how it was.
First day shadow book was 600 gold. Next week they cannot sell them for 2gold.
You think that’s ridiculous? We haven’t even completed the War Effort yet on Remulos and there are two Fireball XII books in the AH starting at 2000 gold with a buyout of 2500. Open server transfers are just the worst!!
I know I quit WoW during the War Effort in Vanilla as I went to try other games, but I don’t remember RMT cadres moving from server to server to up-sell items that were not even yet available on the realm. Blizzard has REALLY lost control of the Classic servers, if indeed they ever really had any plans at all to try to keep them sane.

Yep, a bunch of alts came to my server (which won’t have AQ open until next weekend) last week selling the AQ20 books for 2k a piece.
And of course there were buyers.
all the sweatys wanted them week 1 for dem parses. It will drop quick.
I mean, the people clearing the newest content are going to be stronger then those that aren’t regardless of these books.
Don’t buy them. Only those who want to perform better than others will buy them in the initial weeks. You can get by until they drop for yourself.
