takes crazy time/gold but gives so little dopamine or usefulness back
feels like this was made by someone who’s goal was metrics rather than entertainment

There are tons of things that require a LOT of gold to level up, and no real way to make money other than after you have already maxed out your professions. How do people bridge that gap? Buy tokens. Now you know the reason why.
Ever since I found out the important mats come from Mythic raids and the like I kinda lost interest. Been waffling back and forth but I think tonight when I get home Im going to drop all my crafting except enchanting on my Mage and just farm/sell.
