Like it or not, we’re now dealing with Apotheosis uptime and casting more Holy Words. This is especially true due to our 4-Piece tier set bonus. The Renew with the cooldown is almost entirely for cooldown reduction for Sanctify, should you choose to use it. The damage profiles in the new raid seem to center around 1-3 minute marks repeating. If Salvation were still in the game, I’m not sure it would even be useful.

Coming up with a talent tree that you enjoy is going to be tough. We have a lot of free points in the top half of the tree but some tough decisions to make on the bottom three nodes. Many of the choices are 2-5% each and depend on how you want to play. Though I think most people will suggest that going down the right side into Answered Prayers is vital, not only because of the tier set but because of the cooldown reduction for Holy Words.

It’s a change for sure. I’m still getting used to not having my CoH. The Empowered Renew has replaced its spot on my keyboard.

The increased Lightweaver to four stacks so that it’s easier to manage. For M+ we’re still doing Lightweaver just Flash Heal and Heal spam. Though the new talent below Apotheosis granting three instant cast PoH might be useful for large AoE damage. There’s now a talent that increases the size of Sanctify and that helps for M+ quite a bit too.

I was really turned off when I first started messing with it but I’m learning to like it and I think I might even be better than I was last season with it.

Im cranking heals, 447il can sustain 1.95mill hps easy and not go oom, its way more mana efficent and makes you definitely pay attention more now to how many charges before you pop Apotheosis to get the full benefit, and youre more cautious of when to use your Halo. The 4 piece is silly, is usually #4 on my total heals done. Its solid honestly.

Holy priest 4 set? Isn’t that just a % increase in healing based on the number of inspirations you have out? How are you calculating that as 4th on healing?

The 4 piece makes your holy words within Apotheosis apply Insurance (though only one target in Sanc’s case).

All the changes were based around lowering holy word CDs and extending Apotheosis windows. So you end up getting way more Insurance healing.

Holypriest is the worst dogsh*t healer it was since… I can´t even remember. Still insufferable in Keys but somehow, Blizzard managed to make Raiding feel even worse. What an accomplishment. Gratz blizz, you made it. Whoever designs Holy, should get kicked out. Probably the janitor since what is happening with the spec, can´t be made by a dev.

I’m managing over 3 million in RAW HPS in raid and I don’t even have my four piece yet. Some other classes may be better but it’s far from bad.

After messing with the talent tree for a long while, I’ve finally seen some of the choices they’re trying to allow for us to have. Renew still needs a buff, perhaps an interaction with our Mastery, but it’s possible to have a Renew build when that wasn’t the case before. You can now go more hybrid with the damaging spells and Divine Image without sacrificing healing talents in the top half of the tree.

It’s a change, the playstyle is a bit different, but it is there and it is smooth with some options (some obviously better than others still).

It took me a while to figure it out and get comfortable with it but I like it. I just wish we had one, maybe two more points to spend in the bottom of the tree. I would take a 3-6% overall healing nerf for it too.

It grants Insurance procs when casting Holy Words while in Apotheosis. I think you can maintain Apotheosis uptime at up to something near 30% of the time. I would ASSUME he’s talking about the Insurance proc on the meters, but if he’s able to track the additional % to healing I would love to know that too.
