That’s sort of the problem; Blizzard has continually loosened restrictions, to the point that “Classes” themselves feel kind of absent. There’s no no visual distinction, which was ALWAYS a Blizzard staple. Thematically, things are beginning to blur together more than ever.
Now, for the “goofy” transmogs, or things that truly don’t fit any particular class, I totally get those being open-ended. But I think modern WoW has a bit of an identity crisis with Races and Classes bleeding together way too much.
Races having distinct cultures, and classes having unique visual themes, are a huge part of what set Warcraft apart. I feel like deliberately giving away this cool new gear, themed explicitly for the Forsaken, just sends a poor message. I still think the “of Lordaeron” title should be exclusive to the Forsaken, as well.
