The new flasks for SOD phase 3 game design question?

I was looking into the new flasks (i.e. flask of restless dreams and everlasting nightmares) and noted it shares the same extensive quest line as other epic craftable items. Does crafting 1 flask use up the inert mantle of nightmares (meaning I have to kill the amalgam again to get another one)? Even if the inert mantle is reusable, requiring 10 nightmare seeds for each flask seems like a waste of resources.

It would be great to have the flasks be reusable. Increase the reagents to be equal to that of the craftable epic equipments, increase the cooldown, and/or have it persist or not persist through death. As it stands, the only way I can seeds is in ST which requires a raid or a class that can solo the whelps. Also the other epic craftables only need to be crafted once and apply a permanent buff to the character.

-each flasks needs the mantle which can be bought in BB after you complete the quest for 10g
-they are reusable and only need to be crafted once

Ok cool, I was looking at resources online and it looked like they were consumables (i.e. max stacks 5)
