The new daily quests are horrible

they tried to make every daily quest like a scenario . Hmmm… such genius

I am a big fan of Daily Quests. I know what are good and which ones are bad. I reserve judgement until I have done them. I just hope I get a decent amount of XP from them unlike the pre-expansion Dailys with their 850XP nerfs.

Lots of the dailies just will token ridiculous amount of time to finish.
For example “the spider on the wall” requires you to stay stealthy and walk for thousand yards from the beginning of the quest. What kind of “people” will design such daily quest?
This is just stupid.

There’s a world quest named that? “Spiders on the Wall” was my guild’s previous name before I paid for a name change. I will just secretly believe this is Blizzard’s honorable way to acknowledge my awesomnesss. Love you too daddy Blizz.

Wait until you do the Dredger quest. They send you to a pool with an elite mob that spins in circles, dealing 800 damage per time he baps you - at over 100 yards. And you can’t pick up dredgers while in combat - or they get knocked out your hand. While 8 mobs in the little pool are spawning and the objectives you bring them to have unrelated monsters that knock them out of your hands - and, if you’re close enough, you get him working and summon monsters on the monsters.

I agree completely. These new daily quests are garbage. I shouldn’t have to exit game and read a wiki about where to start, where to end up and how to do the darn thing. Way to puzzle like.

There is no info in game about what to do. Shouldn’t have to go to wowhead to figure this stuff out.

Horrible design. This topic will become more popular when more people hit max and wander around aimlessly trying to figure out how to start the dailys.

They did this on purpose. You’re supposed to do only the required quests for your weekly renown and the like. Not clear every single one which is cut in numbers in the first place.

This is not BFA so they adjusted accordingly. It’s just a mentality change. If you can’t or won’t accept it that is completely fine but things are different.

During vanilla most quest text gave such incomplete information that you had to look up everything online. This is one of the “roots of wow” mechanics devs think add so much “RPGishness” to the game.

Others include losing stuff when you die and unrecoverable mistakes.

If it really is the diablo 3 team making all these things. Why didn’t they make the daily quests/world quests like the quick side things in reaper of souls. Walk into a house, kill some bandits/looters/zombies/ghosts. Takes 2 minutes and done.

Come on diablo 3 team, I always went and did those when I saw them. They are fast and fun, not a chore.

Each content object event turntable you run into is like a carnival ride, your sub fee or wow token is like the ticket to ride.

I can’t wait until they implement the still cardboard backgrounds with cartoon characters representing the fun they’re having.

It does make you feel like you’re having fun right?

I’d be happy just knowing where each daily Starts and what I need to do to finish it.

This show up to a daily and solve a puzzle without having any of the pieces is getting old fast.

It is fun if it was the part of the quest line. BUT it is not fun if it became the daily quest.Thats the difference.
