Funny enough, most of the people I know that bought the cash bruto bought it with WoW gold. Quite a few of them already had the regular bruto too, and quite a few others said they just didn’t feel like trying to snipe the BMAH.
I’m not here to talk about how the Brutosaur is bad or good. I just want to helpfully point out that Blizzard at this point should give these Taxi/Utility Mounts a Rostrum-esque system allowing us to assign our various Mount NPCs onto them.
I think that the best bet for this sort of feature should be a Gilnean Stagecoach that Players can get from a brief questline where we the Players help out a Trsnsit Authority as a Caravan Captain which gives us a 10-Seater Stagecoach that can be further modified from the decals all the way to the Harness: where we can assign whichever of our Mounts to pull it with certain limitations:
A.) The Mounts have to be Ground Mounts or ones that have a Walk/Run animation, so no flying fish or magic carpets.
B.) The Mounts have to be living creatures and not Motorcycles or Mechs, with the Mechanostriders being the exception.
C.) The Mounts are divided into categories based on their Size: Large Mounts like the Ironhoof Destroyer and Brutosaur can pull it by themselves, Medium Mounts like Yaks and Elekks work in pairs, and Small Mounts like the various Wolves, Horses, Raptors and Hawkstriders can pull in teams of four.
These Mount NPCs known as “Caravanners” that you assign to the Stagecoach offer certain buffs and utilities like “15% Increased Mount Speed at Night”, “5% Increase to find Gold on Humanoid Enemies”, or you could have a musician play a rendition of a Zone Soundtrack on a particular instrument they use. With the only limitation being you can only have 9 Caravanners at any given time, but unlike with Followers: these Caravanners are unlocked across your entire account with no damn resource cost to activate them or stupid Mission Tables.
This would be a feature added into Warcraft Midnight: with the Lore justification being that travel for civilians between towns is more dangerous now and Civilian Transportation Groups need experienced drivers to help them map out Stagecoach paths: making it an RP Option of quicktravel instead of riding a Gryphon or Wyvern to reach somewhere.
