The new brutosaur mount is a failure (in concept)

You actually have a talent for taking something and skewing it into something else entirely, and you seem to have a knack for honing in on details and extrapolating the most bad-faith inferences from those details.

Nobody has ever said the mount was expensive in isolation. They have, however, suggested that it’s expensive for a mount and for a premium-service game. Nobody is shaking in their boots because the mount is too price-y for them, we simply believe the mount shouldn’t cost that much, plain and simple. To extrapolate that the only reason why we feel that way is because we’re all just broke and poor is not only disingenuous, but is nothing more than a deflection for you to discard any opinion that disagrees with you. It’s easier to say “you’re just a brokie lmao” than to refute the arguments made, because you and everyone else personally know that the price is indefensible.

Logically speaking, there’s no reason for anyone to disagree with the notion that this mount should be cheaper. Why would you disagree with that? It being cheaper means you save more money. Even if you have all of the money in the world, surely you can agree that spending less money is a net benefit, correct? It’s why you buy things when they’re on sale rather than paying full price for it. Unless, of course, you’re about to tell me that you never buy things on sale and instead buy everything at full price all the time.

The only reason why you would is because you view this as some sort of big-spender luxury item, when it’s not, and you enjoy beating down on those who haven’t spent the money and have an aversion to spending money on it for valid reasons beyond “I don’t have the money to do so.”

That, and because you already shelled out the $90, it would make you look like a fool for Blizzard to lower the price, because it would be a direct acknowledgement that you overpaid for something. So rather than agree, you double down on the price and even go so far as to lash out at those in disagreement. You are the very definition of insecure, if we’re being blunt, because nobody who proclaims to be confident in their financial decisions, or rather claims to be affluent and well-off needs to go out of their way to put down anyone else who feels as though such a financial decision is excessive and gratuitous.

My instincts, given your reaction to the discussion, tell me that much of what you say is posturing. You’re running up and down these threads looking for people to disagree with because you think it’s impressive that you spent money on this thing. Rest assured, nobody is impressed by you. The mount has no value to me or anyone vocalizing their disappointment, so I’m not sure what it is you think you’re accomplishing whenever you whip out the good ol’ “lmao you’re just jealous and broke” argument.

But your dishonesty doesn’t just stop here, because you see, the average person values a bang for their buck. They don’t look at the innate value of what they’re paying for, but rather how much they’re getting in return. Even if we are to assume that you’re right, and that everyone here who hates the mount is just someone incapable of affording it, comparing it to spending money on a subscription is a completely dishonest comparison to make.

Because WoW is a fundamentally cheaper form of entertainment than any other form of entertainment. It gives you access to endless hours of entertainment and content at your disposal. $15 is a supremely easy justification to make when you’re considering what you get in return.

$90 for a mount is not so justifiable in a game greatly oversaturated with mounts, and it’s not justifiable when the most you’ll use it is either in a raid and/or when you don’t feel like running three feet over to the AH vendor while you AFK in the capital city. How you fail to infer any of these reasons and instead resort to it being a money-strapped issue is beyond me, but then again, it’s not unlike you to do so, so I can’t say I’m surprised.

In any case, this will likely fall on deaf ears. I don’t anticipate you to read any of this. Chances are, you’ll just cherry-pick some key points, throw out a few patronizing phrases and words, and then be on your merry way because it is lost on you to actually have a discourse on anything. You are a textbook troll who has no interest in promoting discourse, either because you’re incapable of doing so or because it brings you joy to do breed chaos instead.

Rant over.

people with real money arnt obsessed with how other people spend their money. let people live their lives and you go live yours. insulting people for being happy with their purchases makes you look like salty child.

It might be a lot of things depending on who you ask, but a failure isn’t one of them, at least not to Blizzard. They are probably laughing all the way to the bank on a daily basis.

and you seem to have cognitive and honesty issues…lmao

lying too now? typical behavior for your sort in here

NO…ONE…HAS…

strawmans too…look at you go, lmao

youre about two seconds away from being ignored for blatantly LYING at this point

mine tell me you are a whiner.
youve BEEN whining about 90 bucks you DONT NEED to spend. lmao.

evidently not as much as YOU son…because Im seeing these mounts butt to gut all over the game the last two days lol

IN YOUR OPINION. lmao
THAT is the price…pay it…dont pay it…NO ONE cares. lol

i read everthing UNTIL someone makes it clear they dont have the processing power to handle BASIC facts.

BASIC facts

  • you dont NEED this mount to play the game
  • 90 bucks is NOTHING…I spent over 700 on boosts…CRICKETS from your sort in here about that over the years Ive been mentioning it lol
  • The mount is 90 bucks…pay it…dont pay it…no one cares.
  • whining about it AINT gonna get the price changed like our whining didnt change the price for the last one, and why we asked for a new, cheaper one…that Ion has now provided

and last of all

  • ignored for wasting my time…you just aint worth the thought process it takes to respond to your inane ramblings and passive aggressive personal jabs at this point.

My two new Brutos say hello…and goodbye

yeah…rant…thats all any of youve been doing…ranting…over MY spending MY money how I SEE fit. lmao

I’m not a soothsayer. You’re just unbelievably predictable. Trolls tend to be that.

Have a good one.

huh…just said it a bit back in THIS thread…dude LIES and claims it hasnt been said in here… lol

They will get money, but they will take a reputation hit, and if you keep taking those over time, it can have very bad consequences.

Blizz right now doesn’t have the best reputation for what they did to their employee’s, and how the CEO horded all the profit and layed off a bunch of people.

obviously IF they had the money theyd just buy the damned mount and stop whining about it and that childish passive aggressive crap where they arent REALLY insulting you…while theyre building up their own bruised egos by insulting you for spending YOUR money how YOU choose to, lol

makes them look way worse, but Im trying to be a nice as possible here since many of the others who cant buy it arent behaving like petulant preschoolers…i dont want to make them feel like Im including them in any of this.

casts [Blizzard of Chill Pills] on you both

you got the spell called [mind their own business] you can cast on a list of them in here? lol

It. Is. NOT. For. You.

It’s for the people who LIVE the AH but want to do it out while in Nagrand, watching the clouds.

Working Remote.

I would wager it is a stellar success, it just isn’t for YOU or even for me.

It’s amazing seeing people in a tizzy over a mount that can be purchased purely with gold.

It’s just a shameless cash-grab tbh

You can tell they just rolled it out to “cash in” on the returning-for-anniversary “tourist” types, especially with that fine-print about it being offered only for a limited time - which conveniently ends on basically the same day as the anniversary event ends

Listen man, I am all for having a decent discussion on this subject.

But I can tell you from experience that your thread will go nowhere so long as Liolang is present in it. Virtually every thread they’re in ends up getting derailed into a mudslinging contest over irrelevant subjects. Good luck trying to keep it on-topic.

AND … since there are a lot of vendors Outside it won’t dismount you. I can’t think of any AH’s that are outdoors and allow you to stay mounted. So you park a vendor and don’t actually have to dismount.

I’m still hoping for a devilsaur mount. For BFA sending us to Zandalar, it had a disappointingly low amount of dinosaur mounts to choose from.

Exactly.
Maybe you think the price is too high, while Im fine with it at 90 bucks.
Two subjective opinions.

But theyve been making threads for TWO damned days now insulting and attacking those who paid cash for the mount.

Disagreeing is fine.
Their juvenile name calling and passive aggresive insults, then pretending they are the victim when they get the obvious response their garbage comments deserve…well, thats getting a little old at this point.

All this because they cant afford the mount…but CAN just farm the gold if they want it.
But no, they choose instead to rage out in here at us who spent the $$$ for it. lol

well, we have been screaming for a new AH mount thats cheaper since the last one. lol.
I know…ive been one of the loudest ones in here about it.

so they figured they can make a 20th bang, make a lot of money in the process, give us that cheaper and IMPROVED AH mount and everyone wins.

If you want it for gold, farm it…bliz knows thats an option and gave plenty of time to do it this time around.

Definitely the best mount Ive spent money on. Loving it. Im actually spending more time on the mount than farming today lol.

Nothing in this game is original, it’s based off of various mythology/culture/lore/fantasy/etc.
