Is there really a market for that ? The price of a token just to run something which will yield gear that will become obsolete in a few months. (And not even nice looking gear at that )

Unfortunately, yes there is.
And so long as people are willing to pay real money to cheat? There will continue to be things of this nature invading the game.
And people with compromised accounts–which is what they use to spam.
Always a market. The practice of selling runs for gold is how many guilds make gold these days. The only place it can be advertised is in Trade Chat. If it is in other chat channels, then you can report them for spam.
As for who would buy it, why does it matter? If they want to spend their money on runs, then that is their decision.
It matters because its overcrowding my ignore list, I’m on stormrage and it’s like a plague on the general chat, even made my game crash last night
Just use an Addon like Bad Boy Anti Spam. Keep your ignore list clear for real issue.

I totally have a post up about this same thing right now because of my stupid ignore list being full I needed to rant somewhere, I feel for ya Thinkwizzle. Also I run bad boy and still have problems another one was recommended on the post I made, try that one too.
