Can’t blame him for selling out. His viewership has increased like 400%.

Why should he play retail when blizzards best content was from almost 20 years ago?

The real fault is with blizzard making bad decision after bad decision.

What a weird comment

Being business smart is not selling out. Streamers are a product. If your product is good, people talk. When they talk, curiosity sparks and more show up. He use to play what he wanted and now he plays what his community wanted. Luckily for him, staying in the same atmosphere and game. He now gets to reap from these benefits and his pay checks have easily doubled.

Is it fr like that

I suppose I should leave then

who replaced pika?

Yeah it won’t be the same without him for sure, I didn’t think he was going to stick with classic to the point of abandoning the move though. Thought he was just doing classic due to onlyfangs hype, and was otherwise just going to be a tourist.

Guess $$$ talks though :open_mouth:

yeah prior to onlyfangs he was averaging somewhere between 1k-2500 viewers per stream. Since the increased exposure from onlyfangs, it’s more like 7500-15000, and I’ve seen him with over 25k at some points.

Incredibly successful career move on his end, I’m happy for him

Barely.

Let’s see I could spend all my time grinding games to win a tournament a few thousand people in the world care about based on some arbitrary meta going against people who could desperately use the 5k they might get from winning against all the other 24/7 players…

or I could play classic and make the same amount of streamer money chilling and still be one of the best PvPers of all time.

Hard decision…

How exactly is that a weird comment? AWC is the last thing blizzard needs to worry about. They don’t even fix pvp in the game, why are they trying to keep this scam going?

Hes replaceable.

Depends on how you look at it I guess. What I’m saying is him selling out is leaving his team of many years, leaving his arena fans (which got him to where he is today) and no longer being the face of the AWC. Again, I don’t blame him because he prob doubled his income.

Close to it. He averages 5k+ sometimes peaks at like 15k+. He’s going to be making close to a million+ a year.

Good for him honestly he’s a smart dude and did all the right things to be where he is today. No one could possibly blame him literally everyone in his position would do the same thing.

That’s the downside of being a streamer. If you’re as popular as he is you become a slave to your audience.

WoW’s time in the sun has set and he’s a young man who has put all his eggs into a single basket as a streamer. I think milking the most money he can get, while he can get it, is the most intelligent thing he could be doing.
