The more it goes on the less I wanna play SL

I was pretty hyped with how it started. People were excited bout thorghast and other features…then changes came to most of it going against what was fun about it. The more. I see patches like the nerf bat to legendary the less and less im excited about the game. Covenant ability which were exicting are getting more and more blend… Anyone feel the same ? Im to the point I start checking other games. I love WoW…ive been playing since BC but gosh I hate the direction this is taking.

edit you guys seem to be missing my point. I dont care about the delay im even for it. But it seems that even with the time they have now. They are still taking so many bad decisions. Were a little bit over 2 weeks to the original release date and it feels like alpha.

My interest dipped once they delay was announced. It’ll be back, but I don’t expect raids to open in 2020. Just thinking about that feelsbadman.

ionlands will be fun!

You don’t have to play it.

This is why they were so conflicted if they should delay the game or not.

Release the game now as a buggy mess and fix it later…

OR

Delay the game, kill the hype, but fix it and release it in a better state?

what happens when they release a buggy mess later lol

Sad thing, it doesn’t seem to be getting fixed, Just more of a mess. Should be polishing things out even with a delay, seems more like alpha stage in development atm.

I’m sorry did you expect them to fix it overnight? We haven’t even hit the original release date yet.

So sorry they aren’t all burning the midnight oil to get you significant updates a week and a half after they announce the pushback.

it will interfere with profits if you don’t pay to play an alpha

I dont have to. But I want to…I love this game I crave for it to be good.

Like some streamer said:

The problem with this delay (although needed) is that now SL HAS to be good. Like, there is absolutely no window for mediocrity. It HAS to be great from the start otherwise it doesn’t justify the delay.

And like OP said, they ARE making a lot of development mistakes by the day since they announced the delay.

Im looking at you, waste of time conduit “energy” system… :man_facepalming:t2::man_facepalming:t2::man_facepalming:t2:

World of ioncraft

How dare people want WoW to survive and be the game it used to be.

It won’t ever be the game it “used to be.” It wasn’t the game it used to be then either.

That makes no sense. MoP was MoP during MoP. You can’t rewrite history.

Slap Mythic+ in MoP to replace CMs, put the sets behind KSM, and it’s like the most perfect expansion ever, and the easiest to get into for new comers mid way through. A bit like Legion 7.3

WE won’t ever be the players that we used to be.

That is why Classic is so different from Vanilla (and so disappointing to many players). Blizzard could copy the old game rules. But Blizzard couldn’t turn all the jaded 10-year veterans of this game into “1st year newbies, full of excitement”. That didn’t happen, and can’t.

the more they delay the more ppl are going to be pissed at any leftover problems.

at least they had an excuse if they released early lol

*edit: this wasnt a reply to anyone in particular ; i mustve clicked the wrong place.

People literally could not level to 60.

Yep, and that is why Blizz was ultimately right in gauging the overall desire for people wanting to play Classic. People were nostalgic-filled, and the industry and its players has changed too much for Classic to ever re-create that feeling for any reasonable period of time.

I have followed the development of Shadowlands, probably too much, and it ruined the surprise for me.

From here on out, I’m trying to not learn so much about the new content… until I actually go in and experience it firsthand.

SL isn’t even out yet, and it feels like we’re already one year into it.
