I’m waiting for the Master Chief, COD Ghost, or Skyrim Dragonborn mogs to be on the Trading Post.
At this point, just let it happen. Let me have Clippi as a Vanity Pet, let there be a Dragonborn cosmetic set for Skyrim’s 6th launch, give us Cortana as an Ethereal, lets go.
We got Manari, fer Zergling’s sake. We’ve had cross-pollination with other franchises and other games for a while now. Just make it Transmog or something silly and call it a day. If FF-Online can have giant hampster plushies as mounts, and D&D Online can do Star Trek mounts because the same company makes both games, just let us have that cheese already.
Literally cannot do any worse than the damage Bobby ‘Not Even The Gold Diggers Will Touch Me’ Kottick and his slew of Bill Cosby suite loving cubicle crawlers have done to the game and the employees. That’s our new standard. “Literally cannot do worse than SA offenders and those that protected them.” That is Blizzard right now.
We literally can only go up or slowly burn up like the dumpster fire we are.

the accessible option for gaming is console ports.
realistically a machine that can run all the modern games is about as much as a console is overall, but that’s asking people to do research on parts and find good sales and know how to find those sales. Prebuilts are costly and not usually as efficient as they could be, and you don’t know exactly what you’re getting until you’ve done your research.
The best we can do is make computer speak as easy as possible, but consoles will always be the route for gaming as far as accessibility goes. I know I’m willing to help the people in my life build or buy good computers, but I can only do so much.
Oh, also, making games that don’t require the latest AMD cards to run and don’t need to be run on SSDs might help, Todd Howard. League of Legends is one of the most popular (and profitable) PC games in the world, iirc, because it runs on literally anything. Anything with higher requirements needs a console port or it’s doomed to not make its budget back. So maybe that’s the secret to accessible PC games: stop making games with hyper-realistic graphics that require the newest cards, and think more like Riot Games with games that run on low-budget machines.
