We don’t have a developer. Everything I can find points warriors being a “group effort” with no dedicated lead. This basically means everyone passes the buck to focus on their favorite class thinking someone else will do the work. I’ve worked corporate for a good 15 years where different groups have projects that have to pull from others. If there is no dedicated person in charge and/or they have no authority, everyone else pretty much tells them to bugger off and nothing gets done… Ever.
Warriors were actually doing well so the first thing Bliz did was hit us with a 15% execute nerf just a few days before the Undermine patch came out. Obviously warriors being a wanted class was not “working as intended” so they had to fix that. Now we’re sucking (again) so…

But hey, at least Odyn’s Fury is a powerful signature ability for Fury Warriors that’s independent of Avatar now.

Please keep beating this drum! It’s verbatim from their own developer notes. The clearest indicator we’ve gotten that the devs don’t play Warrior at all.

Has anyone actually used Titans torment this season? I still can’t figure out what it is actually good for since they changed it. I can’t even find a sim where its even close to berserkers torment. They made our “signature” ability odyn’s fury absolute garbage and then remake Titans torment and make that absolutely useless.
Should we start a go fund me for Blizzard to hire a Warrior dev that doesn’t make our class worse?

It was a dogwater talent idea that was dead on arrival.
They had feedback on this very point early on from multiple people (myself included) how bad of a change it was and that it would see next to no play, but they rolled with it anyway.
Would not be surprised if this gets reworked again in the next season.

I learned that Oracle Disc Priests can use prayer of mending via Power Word: Shield without needing to actually take Prayer of Mending. Meanwhile if prot warriors wants Thunderclap to apply rend, we need to take Rend. Likewise if Slayer warriors want Imminent Demise to give us Sudden Death, we need to take Sudden Death. The latter of which was a change they made in TWW Season 2.

I would. Warrior capstones doing nothing, or less than nothing is not seen as an alarming thing for Blizz. Just look at Storm of Steel, a warrior capstone that ACTIVELY DECREASES DPS. Truly amazing.

It’s almost criminal to allow this variance for AoE damage when it’s such a huge part of being picked for higher M+ keys. Who is going to take a warrior doing 4m DPS when they could have almost any other class do 8m DPS. The other classes also give buffs and/or a b rez.
I think warriors need an AoE buff for more targets AND a utility buff. Give us bloodlust, I mean we already have an ability called bloodthirst. Warriors having lust would be a huge boon to right the ship and get us in more M+s if they don’t give us more AoE capability.

I had a M+ pug turn me down because “LOL aoe cap”. I managed to claw my way to all 12’s timed but now I can’t get any invites to 13’s to get the last 50 points I need for the 3k mount.
Its rough out here in pug land
