This is something many have requested ever since it first was released, and now I think is one of the best times to reintroduce it. It could be a Trading Post mount, or even an unlockable mount in the next major content update if it’s relevant to the new race
There’s just a very machine-tech-innovation theme revolving around The Ringing Deeps and Dornogal, and I feel it is a good time to introduce a jetpack mount finally
Agreed. I loved that silly thing and spent an inordinate amount of time on that island as a result.
Is this like that PilotWings jet pack thing?
Not sure. Haven’t come across that yet.
It was a limited time use item that let you fly around like Boba Fett. Was pretty cool.
If I remember correctly the bird rare dropped the pattern and you made it with that scrap robot.
Only negative was it didn’t work anywhere but Mechagon.

Why does everything they make have to by a gyrocopter? I get they did get that iron golem mount in TWW so far.
A rocket-pack should exist already. I mean, it does, but it’s not a mount.
Remember the Icecrown Citadel gunship fight? We’ve had rocket-packs since then lol. That was 2009.

The jetpack from Mechagon should be added to the Traders shop or a different colored version of it.
If Old Republic, that doesn’t even have flying, can have jetpacks… there is no reason WoW can’t.
Maybe we’ll get one from the goblins when we deal with them in one of these patches people keep talking about?
