Been a minute since we remembered to bump this, but we’re still here! Hope you all have been enjoying the Shadowlands!
We’re in the middle of a Hall campaign involving the Scourge! Just because some heroes slew a weird lookin’ val’kyr up north doesn’t mean all the undead just up and vanished! Join us on Tuesdays to help the dwarves repel the undead from Khaz Modan - it hasn’t been looking too good of late, there’s rumors that we may have to evacuate Thelsamar…
If you don’t like rolling events or serious RP, there’s still the two pub nights each week - Friday and Sunday at 6 server! Come on out and pay the dwarves a visit!

How do I join this community? I’ve been applying week after week but I continue to be declined. Do I need to play on wyrmrest accord to join?
If I see you’ve put a note relating to RP or are from the Wyrmrest Accord server, I’ll typically invite you on the spot. If there’s no note and you’re off-server, I tend to decline because there’s a limited number of slots in the community.
Guess I’m coming to Wyrmrest. I’ve been looking for a community like The Mead Hall. Sorry didn’t know I needed a note to join. I’ll add something once I transfer realms. Thanks for the info!
This is relevant to my interests.
This thread is inspirational to leveling this character.
Edit: Actually, this seems like a good thread to ask something. What is the Alliance Dwarf version of the Warhammer Dwarf’s “Khazukan Kazakit-ha”
FER KHAZ MODAN! Or something like that. There aren’t too many iconic dwarven battlecries, because Blizzard is allergic to showing the dwarves doing much most of the time. Shouting your clan name works too.

I tried to come to one of their pub nights, but they didn’t like my hat, hence my iconic comedy routine, “I was thrown out of a bar in Ironforge City…”
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT on Saturday! We’re in Ironforge at 6 server, come out for drinks, games, competitions, and the best dwarves you’ll meet this side of Oribos!
Also, our Scourge campaign continues! Every Tuesday at 6 server, join us in saving Khaz Modan from the undead. They may have the upper hand now, but if the orcs couldn’t beat down the front door of Ironforge, what chance do a bunch of ghouls have? Of course, the ghouls might be smarter than orcs…

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT tonight! 6 server, in the Great Forge! We’ll have competitions like Ogre Suit Racing, Flyting, and more!
Seriously considering dropping the cash to join your server. . . I guess this question might be redundant (preaching to/asking the choir) but if I’m looking for a richer wow experience and am passionate about dwarven Marksmanship hunters should I make the jump to WRA?
You should roll an alt and see how you like it before you drop money on a transfer.
Already on it sir. Made “Tharnex” last night. Love the dwarf spawn area! I remember one winter drinking good beers and having the bust time just hunting/skinning/mining those snow covered hills. I really think Blizzard has taken a wrong turn by continually churning out weirder and weirder expansions and new races. . . Why not develop the races/heritage of the existing world to a greater degree rather than this path of obsession with the federal system/alliance. Seems like the races of Azeroth are rich with potential cultural and historical developments.
How do you guys feel about visits from alts that are only occasionally played? Some of you may know I’m a confirmed pandaholic & happy with it, but I do have a DI Dwarf I’d like to RP on & get a better understanding of Dwarven lore & culture.
Most, if not all of our events are free to join and dip whenever you want! That’s totally fine. Campaigns that require continued attendance will be clearly announced ahead of time, so no worries about joining in on RP for a session here or there. And our taverns are certainly always open to new faces!
I only recently transferred over to the Alliance from the Horde and I’ve been enjoying the Mead Hall Brewpub and Cask and Anvil nights.

Is this guild still active? Ive been looking for a decent dwarf guild for a long time now
The Mead Hall wasn’t so much a guild as it was a community of guilds with heavy dwarven participation. It’s since moved to Moon Guard but I’m not sure that the community is active.
There are a handful of dwarven guilds on Moon Guard and a decent number of dwarven RPers on WrA, but we’re not organized into a single guild or a community as much anymore. There’s heavy discussion about restarting tavern events at the Cask & Anvil in IF, but with BG3 dropping a couple of weeks ago, it probably won’t be until after Labor Day.

Thank you for the info, it sounds like I should make my way over to Moonguard if I have any hopes of joining said community and enjoying the game a bit more?
If you’re looking for exclusively Dwarf, then try giving it a look, but the last I remember the guilds were Dwarven heavy but not exclusive. Look for Rufaic - he can probably tell you more.
