I have literally gotten better tasting sandwiches out of a vending machine.
Friends & I gave those vending machines a nick name, call them the Wheel of Death.
I just bought one the other day out of nostalgia and to me it doesnât taste as good as it used to. Donât get me wrong, it was never like eating a good pork rib sandwich, but this one was just terrible. Not sure if it got worse or my taste for it changed but I wouldnât get it again. (Except unless they remove it from their menu and bring in back in three years and I forgot all of this)
I miss the Arch Deluxe.
Oh man you just had to bring up vending machine sandwiches! Iâve not had one of those tasty egg salad sandwiches in at least a decade. Now I want one! Ugh.
Probably a bit of both. Only time I remember liking one of those was when I was very drunk. Remember trying one a few days later sober & I took one bite & threw out the rest.
Jack in the Box Tacos are the only fast food worth eating. (Chik Fil A isnât fast food itâs gourmet).
I loved it in the 80s, but so much has changed in regards to fast food in general⌠what is the McRib really???
âa royal with cheese?!â
Iâve legit never seen a vending machine with sandwiches.
Is this an actual thing outside of parts of Asia?
Carlâs Jr / Hardeeâs the bestttt.
The McRib is hot garbage, not enough sauce to get rid of the liver n onions taste.
Iâd eat a McRib before I take a vaccine, thatâs for sure.
Or did I say that backwards?

Hmmm⌠looks the sameâŚ
Itâs been a thing in America ever since I can remember. I used to work at a place that even had Chick-Fil-A sandwiches in a vending machine, served hot! Most of the sandwich vending machines are refrigerated, cold sandwiches.
Hardeeâs Monster Burger was amazing.
Itâs a thing in office buildings, usually. Theyâre refrigerated and usually stocked every morning. The idea of them is more gross than they actually are, so people tend to poopoo on the idea of them. Also, Iâve seen dozens of vending machines in Japan that serve prepared food, so not sure what part of Asia youâre in, but the concept has certainly crossed into the continent.
Carlâs Jr Western Bacon Cheeseburger or In-N-Outâs Double Double.
Mechanically separated pig rib meat thatâs blended with water and fillers and molded into the artificial shape of a rib.
I am not making fun. This is exactly the same as most frozen âchicken breastsâ are in the US.
Letâs face the music, Soylent Green has been people a lot longer than the McRib has been âmeatâ.
You will be burned at the stake for this blasphemy.
