The devs have purposefully tried to make this expac as controversial as they could. Saying they enjoy the fans being so split up can be good in the short-term but this has been dragged so long for so many years that we now have a divide. If Sylvanas gets redeemed then people will rage quit, same if she gets dies.
They put themselves in a corner where they are gonna lose people regardless.

Reading that interview made my head hurt. Not only do they think the Sylvanas fans are all raving mad sheeple. They aren't even pretending she is doing questionable things for a good reason. Now they are just having her do bad things because it's what they think her fans want. Plausable deniability? She didn't need that before. She didn't care if garrosh found out she was using the plague. She didn't even hide the fact she was raising the dead.

I haven't heard about chronicle changing it, but I don't own it and no one's sent pictures of excerpts about this, so I can't say with any certainty.

Only truthful facts I got out of this interview was Blizzard loves to make the fans pissed off. Wether at the devs, each other, anything. Hate brings attention. Sylvanas was always a target for fans whether that was hate or love. Attention usually brings $ one way or another, and Sylvanas has two big bosoms full of attention. That is probably the second biggest reason she is still alive. Biggest reason in this interview is that Blizzard Devs just love Sylvanas. I can't help but think that the new devs are just edge lord fans. They've turned the Honorable Horde into a metal edge lord faction. Sylvanas ascension and forever immortal inc.
