There is a bug in the quest “The Master of Lies” in Stage 6, where I am unable to complete “The Accuser empowered” portion of that stage (the other 2 parts work fine). There is a single Dread Siphonist that will evade 100% of my attacks, regardless of the attack or spell used. Some spells aren’t allowed against it (i.e. If I try to cast arcane missiles it will say “invalid target”). I tried skipping this stage and attacking Sire Denathrius directly, and it says that he is an invalid target or if I get too close it will teleport me back so I have to kill the dread siphonist again (which the bug prevents me from doing). I am stuck and cannot progress through the questline as a result. I searched online and several others had this same issue, and I was unable to find a way around it. I tried intentionally dying, but the problem persists.

Just to bring this forward or up. I have the same issue. Tried to log out of game completely and back in but still there. I sumbitted an in game ticket. But website says its not there.

Well, the bug is still here. The npc Dread Siphonist is evading attacks and I’m unable to finish the Venthyr scenario 6 and final questline in the Master of Lies, which is the last bit to finish this all up and I can choose a Covenant and move forward into Shadowlands.
This time around I decided to redo the guardrail storyline instead of going through the Threads of Fate.
happening here too, cant go forward, cant abandon, thanks blizz. will never get a covenant i guess.
Well, it is over a year later, I have all the updated expansions and have the same problem
