BFA stopped being a faction war expansion the moment they changed the story mid expansion(which is where the “civil war” storyline began) it was clear well if you played horde forever and read the books and into the lore that something changed both in the writting and narative. thats around when alex was kicked out and danuser and others took over. obvious change was there.
