The losses of the Horde

Hello community. I am glad to be here. I want to use this topic to list up all the times Blizzard screwed the Horde over. Feel free to add your own points I am genuany interested in seeing your opinions.

Alright I will start.

  1. The Horde losing all their old characters to villain batting or otherwise being turned into loot fodder. This is true for the following characters: Kargath, Zuluhed, Teron Gorefiend, Kilrogg, Kael’thas, Zul’jin, Blackhand, Doomhammer, Cairne, Vol’jin, Sylvanas, Gallywix, Nathanos, Tagar, Fenris, Durotan, Draka, Grommash, Gul’dan, Ner’zhul, Rastakhan, the Loa chosen priests.

  2. Losing every battle and major conflict ever since WoW started: The battle of Ashenvale, Theramore(the initial attack without the manabomb), Pandaria, Stromgarde, Lordaeron, Darkshore and Dazar’alor

  3. Being turned into raid fodder two times in the span of 6 years in the case of Siege of Orgrimmar and the attack of Dazar’alor.

  4. 13 years without any progress of the old zones like Quel’thalas ever since Cataclysm happened. We need a new world revamp.

these are just my initial picks. Feel free to add your own.

In before someone points out that some of those things, like #4, have happened to the Alliance too. (They have.)

Also, someone’s probably going to make an equivalent Alliance thread.

These characters weren’t villain batted, they were originally written as villains. Not sure Zul’jin was ever in the Horde.

They chose to do that to use the bomb, not really a loss.

These characters were neither villains or loot pinatas.

Still we lost them to the writing.

Alliance got their second war heroes back without problems. Meanwhile the Horde ones were taken out. I call that double standard.

Many Horde soliders died during the initial attack.

Ok.

I was addressing the fact you said they were villain batted, not about getting them back.

That doesn’t make it a loss.

At first I thought this thread was genuine, but then I saw what date it was

No development out side of faction conflict build up. Where majority of development is for villain batting.

Horde characters being depowered and powerless compare to their alliance counter parts.

Lastly has the horde won any battles against the alliance outside of using super weapons or cheap tactics? You would think the faction with stronger races could win in open honorable battles.

To be fair, this is how Erevien posts every other day of the year.

Garrosh actually planned on losing that initial attack on Theramore in order to weaken the defenses enough for the Mana Bomb. So it was less of a loss and more of a strategy employed by Garrosh for the destruction of Theramore.

Zul’jin did join the Horde in the Second War after he was rescued from his imprisonment by humans. He and Doomhammer worked really well together up until Zul’jin got hyper focused on destroying Silvermoon, where as Doomhammer had his attention completely focused on destroying Lordaeron seeing it as the best way to shatter the Alliance.

The orcs and forest trolls split, both were defeated, and in the aftermath of it all Zul’jin left the Horde.

This is a solid AF bit.

I think you talk about physically strenght, or? A battle is decided by manny influences.

In any 1 vs 1 standard soldier face off the average Horde fighter would win against the alliance counterpart. But it is not their armies who win their battles but their OP lead characters like Tyrande and Jaina.

It depends. normal Humans vs monstrous Races of the Horde? Sure, of course, gnome, we don’t need to talk. But for example, races like Night Elves, Worgen, Draenei, Kul’Tirans and Dwarves are also physical monsters.

Know what I fully agree the game needs more sexism, I am glad we are getting it, hopefully sylvanas will survive so we can have more sexism racism and xenophobia.

Hello Erevien. I’m confused. Didn’t you just make a goodbye thread on EU?

Now now, Erevien does us a valuable service. The agriculture industry of Orgrimmar would be in dire straits without the copious if somewhat low quality fertilizer he provides.

I dunno, I think you could have a lot of fun redesigning Azuremist and Bloodmyst. The Draenei like to build vertical and it would be pretty cool to see what you could do should they be allowed to reclaim all of Tempest Keep and the Genedar. For example, since there is limited space, turning each of those keeps into their own little subislands off the shore of a rebuilt Exodar. Turning the whole capital into a sort of player/questing hub.

I like that you couldn’t even fake being genuine enough to try to spell it. It says… something.

So we are just gonna ignore the fact the Horde leveled Southshore, won Anderhol, beat the worgens and forced them back to Gilneas, potentially won Alterac Valley(at the very least it is canon certain Alliance NPC of Alterac Valley are dead and not their counterpart, Ivus and Renferal are clearly dead).

And considering the Horde intially won most of the conflict of Theramore(they leveled Northwatch and killled many of the NPC) saying they were not winning it is a misgnomer.

None of these battles were important to decide the entire war. On the other hand the Alliance won every battle which turned the war around. First SoO in MoP. And then later Dazar’alor when they removed Zuldazar from the map. In the end the Alliance ALWAYS comes out on top.
