The Lorewalkers: Do I need to do quests?

I am trying to reach exalted with The Lorewalkers, but am finding several of the locations I am directed to do not have scrolls visible. Do I need to do quests before I’m able to do these achievements? Or does this possibly mean I’ve gotten the scroll on another character?

No-- the scrolls are by character not by account. On the other, I don’t actually remember…

I can’t figure why most scrolls are there but a few are missing.

Which ones are missing? I know there are a few in odd areas that are phased due to the questing.

For example, Legend of the Brewfathers: Quan Tou Kuo the Two Fisted.

Edit: I’m watching this video pertaining to the above achievement and in this video the player in it is visiting the players I am, and I don’t see any scrolls for him either?

I was under the impression I’d be picking up scrolls, not clicking statues. Clicking them doesn’t display that I am getting achievement progress, either. But it didn’t for this fellow in the above video. /confused

That vid is old-- Have you gotten the other requirements for the achievements?

Should be three statues you click on and I don’t believe these give Loremaster rep.

If I’m not mistaken… Once you get all of the scrolls, you talk to Lorewalker Cho and listen to all of his stories. That’s what gets you the rep. I think.

That’s why I was confused. I was looking for scrolls and clicking the statues doesn’t display achievement progress, but I guess it does nevertheless.

That’s what I’ve read, too.

Edit: Actually just received the achievement for the Brewmasters. Thank you, Rhielle and Teiah, for helping to clarify! :smiley:

Yeah-- these aren’t scrolls. They’re a completely different achievement. But it’s a part of the Lore.

@Teiah Before I go, can you tell me if the Disc of the Red Flying Cloud is account-bound?
