In the years I have played the game, since 2004… with breaks in between… I have never once met a single person who has openly discussed reading any of the books in any of the guilds or communities I have been in
Albeit it I only typically hang out with the more hardcore of players back in the day, but even now that Im more casual and only running Mythic+ up to 15s these days
Raises hand I do. And have discussed said books in a few guilds, and in trade chat, across six accounts and on various toons.

My Panda hunter is in blue, silver, & brown. She was my first main as a noob. My main bmhunter is human. I’m a mediocre player that gets two hours a day in the mornings if I’m lucky. (I can list my disabilities as well, and explain my caretaking schedule for my husband if you want) I’m still woefully ignorant about many things in the game. I haven’t played in at least three months, maybe more. I don’t run dungeons often. So, if you’re gonna spend time looking me up get it right or ask me. redacted with sincerest apologies.

About this, however, from what I’ve gathered from responses here most hardcore players don’t even care that much about story. Just enough to get them from the beginning to Mythics in record time.

You faction swapped twice with all your characters, possibly some server transfers. Don’t know about factoring the race change, because you get to choose a whatever race you want when faction changing.
But, yeah I wouldn’t spend that kind of money on pixels. I’m cheap so I would of done just one character and left the rest behind.
I’m still sitting on my dead server undecided if I’m staying or going based on how lively my friend attendance looks before DF drops. As much as I love my alts I wouldn’t spend hundreds of dollars moving and swapping around.
It cost me literally the equivalent of 1 tank of gas to move all of that with the sale, about $175… saves a ton of time and I get to be on Asmon’s layer now lol
