On my second character choosing the Threads of Fate leveling path. The Looming Dark still shows in my quest log despite having picked a Covenant. This isn’t an issue for the actual Night Fae Campaign, it seems like I can still progress that just fine. However other “perks” of the Night Fae are locked for me, I cannot buy the upgradeable campaign gear from the Armor Vendor despite having 2/9 of the campaign completed. It shows as me not having met the requirements to buy it despite it saying 2/9 in my quest log.

I just want to add on my first character that is Night Fae and done pretty much every covenant quest (and is 2/9 campaign) cant buy the gear from the armour vendor either. My partner in Venthyr is in the sasme boat and cant buy the gear either even though he is 2/9
I’m having the same problem. I did the “Threads of Fate” path, and I’m currently progressing in the first chapter of the Night Fae campaign, but “The Looming Dark” quest, wich requiers to choose a covenant, is still showing as active, despite already choosing a covenant at level 50. Hope they fix this soon.
I am having the same issue. Leveled my DK with Threads of Fate. Stuck on “The Looming Dark” to pick a covenant. Afraid to swap covenants and lose the command table and other stuff I’ve already done.
I opened a ticket with Blizzard and no response as of yet

I submitted a ticket for it last night, the response was that they have a lot of tickets and to submit a bug report, so… here we wait =P Let me know if you hear differently hahaa
Same problem here on my paladin. When I mouse over it it just says Campaign Progress, 0/1 Chapters, Choosing Your Covenant. I have already chosen a covenant and am at 2/9 chapters in the campaign and renown level 3. Also probably related to this, The Maw in the skybox of Oribos does not have the red appearance that you get after completing the Revendreth storyline even though I have nothing available to do in Revendreth and got the achievement for it on this character when I activated threads of fate.
I´m having the same problem with my DK, i have the Looming Darkness 0/1 Choose youre Covenant.
Same here, finished the threads of fate on an alt, hit 60 and all, and still got the looming dark thingie, and i dont wanna switch covenants to then have to wait weeks to get back to it 
Yeah, my ticket got the same reply of ‘Submit a bug report’ I did reply to clarify that I can’t ‘Abandon and re-take’ this one.
Nice to know I am not alone. Haven’t checked the armor vendors, but it’s possible that they also have issues.

Same issue. Leveled alt using threads of fate, and now I’m stuck on Looming in darkness despite having already selected a covenant.
Level 45 on my druid, second character to go through shadowlands. I did all campaign quests for Bastion through Ravendreth. I get the Ravendreth quest that sends me back to Oribos to talk to Tal-Inara. I turn in the quest with Tal-Inara, which should then start “The Looming Dark”, but nothing happens. There is no exclamation or quest for me to be able to choose a covenant.
