As much good as longboys do for the game. With the revamp of professions, blizzard is giving an uneven playing field with the longboy not being a option for ALL. In dragon flight alone, all professions are based around the renown system and specializations, so naturally, people with long boys have an advantage over others without. Either 1, disable longboy auctioneer to even the playing field, or two, make it available for all players again. It’s not right one doesn’t even have an option to be multitasking with rep, and crafting as one with a longboy does.
i don’t follow
I…don’t either.
you snooze, you lose. A lot of people worked hard in BfA to get the gold for the broto. Some even bought it with real money. If Blizzard disabled it now, it would be a riot.
There is no snooze and lose. They have released expansions since then and if someone didn’t play during that one they are at a disadvantage. If they balance pvp and pve, why aren’t they balancing profession farming
please back up. what are you claiming is imbalanced here?
Snooze and lose? Players shouldn’t have an economic disadvantage because they didn’t play during an expansion years ago. It’s not like 98% of the player base can afford the mount anyway. They need to make it available again and NOT on the BMAH. I don’t even care if it comes with restrictions like only being able to mount outside cities, it simply needs to come back in one form or another.
Explain what you mean by this… what exactly is the advantage? Additionally, why is an “advantage” around professions an impact on someone else’s ability to play the game?
Advantages in things like Raiding/M+/PVP affect game play when it comes to a competitive nature. I just don’t see how someone having an accessible AH mount is even an issue. Not saying there isn’t one, I just don’t see it and you’re not explaining what you mean by it.
bring back bronto yeah, i need token price going down. ofc 5 Million min, do not think u will get ur bronto for 50k g.
you had your chance to buy the long boi during battle for azeroth, you didnt pick the choice, so you complaint in dragonflight, give us a break dude.
you have a massive economic disadvantage if you don’t farm the first 2 days of an expansion or a new patch… this is nothing new.
For example, day 1 of DF, frost essences were 3k gold, now they are less than 200 gold. If you snoozed and didn’t farm early… you lost potentially hundreds of thousands of gold.
So, your suggestion is removing that for all the people who put in the effort back then?
I’m all in for returning the Bruto, but removing it would be one of the worst possible things Blizzard could do.
You can’t tell me that a 2 minute disadvantage is that big of a deal. Certainly not enough to make this big of a deal about a “disadvantage” because of a mount. You could easily send your alt the materials and put them in the AH.
exactly, the mount is nice but it’s that big a deal. we’ve had ah alts forever.
So basically you all are trying to say that for gold farmers, having an auctioneer on a mount that you can access in any parts of the world is a balance action. That is untrue, if pvp, and pve must be balanced. So should profession/farming game. Those of them with them damn well know they have the advantage on each and every expansion with the capability of being able to prop up on them next to a mailbox with tsm. For those of you acting like it is balanced for all is so very biased.
the high cost of the mount is offset by earning more gold on AH later on. And it takes a long time to get back the 5 mil.
Can’t just get it for free now; or disable it. THAT would be unbalanced.
Also, gold is pointless in this game unless you have a lot of it.
I have no idea what the hell OP is talking about? How does having a longboi correlate with having an edge with the professions revamp?
All I could kinda think of is that OP thinks that we can craft public orders with it? Which is not the case obviously since it’s just an auction house on legs and not a profession crafting table … duh, but I have no idea other than that??
