this is the first time in a decade that Iam looking forward to know more about wow lore/unniverse, basically all ww alpha spoilers looks promissing
I may be wrong, but I think the dismissal of several former workers and the return of metzen played a small role in this new horizon of a new decent captivating story for the franchise. what do u gals think, wow storytelling can be good again? soul saga looks promissing?

Is it finally time for the xenos and heretics to wither beneath the golden throne’s gaze?
I assume this is Arathi stuff. And I assume that big crystal they worship is a bad crystal. Trust me, I’m a draenei. I have 1+ to jewel craft.

I really hope so! I miss loving WoW’s Lore.

Needs more Orc and then it’d be 10/10
The absolute last thing WoW needed was more humans. Give other races a chance to have characters developed. Like half the races in the game have maybe 1 important character if they’re lucky while humans have a ridiculous amount.

since bfa with sylvanas nonsense I lost my enthusiasm for anything involving wow lore, as a fan of warcraft shadowlands was a fatal blow too.
but for the first time since then…my hope rise again, I have a little enthusiasm and curiosity to know the story of soul saga. I’ll just ignore that bfa and sl happened I guess
the crystal that they worship is probably a naaru thing, I think there will be some draenei background behind it, and hopefully more draenei lore

The crystal is being rubbed up on by an old-god-thing in a stone mural. I’m willing to bet it’s not a Naaru/draenei thing at all and its resemblance is a red herring.
The battle between Light and Void is a central plot point for the Draenei, if Draenei don’t show up at some point in the next 3 expansions I don’t even know what Blizzard’s doing.
I very much doubt it’ll be TWW though. Midnight makes more sense for Draenei involvement because Draenei history with the blood elves and Sunwell.
TWW could have picked literally any other race and introduced some new major characters for races in desperate need of development and instead they somehow picked humans.

Xal’atath had Iridikron grab the Dark Heart for the sake of ensuring Azshara’s return to rule sea, land and sky.
Considering she had Iridikron infuse it with Galakrond’s hunger it would seem she is using it to make whatever is inside Hallowfall’s Crystal hungry enough to wake up.
Considering all of Azshara’s Cultists outside the Naga go on and one about being only sleeping while the other Void Cultists instead speak of their power and saving us from Darkness(with N’Zoth saying the fall of Night reveals her true face and that she will bring only ruin) it would seem that Azshara’s Night Elf/Naga Body is merely a Dreamform possessing a Night Elf/Naga body.
She plans to hook up all of her converts to her sleeping Light followers by filling them with enough Hunger that they wake up to devour all in their wake.
As for what Azshara is: Xal’atath calls Elune an upstart “goddess” and has a Moon Symbol on her face so it may be that Azshara is Mu’sha the Tauren Moon Goddess with Elune being her rival in the Pantheon of Life.
Of course such a reveal would give Hamuul Runetotem, Muln Earthfury, Mayla Highmountain and Baine Bloodhoof reason to get involved since it is their patron deity whose causing all problems. Of course Tyrande, Shandris and Malfurion would also have to jump in since the Tauren’s Goddess was the Night Elves’ final Queen.
It is some very interesting sounding lore. I was excited for hallowfall already, but now we’re finding out that the real empire is yet to be seen. Well that’s just awesome!
there have always been female custodes.
I guess blizzard really has no ideas anymore so they are using lore from warhammer…
Warhammer didn’t invent emperors.

I’m really of the opinion that Warcraft should not become like Warhammer. Let them be two different things. That’s okay. I like Warhammer. I like Warcraft. I don’t need a mayonnaise and peanut butter sandwich.
But also
humans certanly looks ramdom, I was expecting real dark trolls instead of harronir too, but well Iam giving it a chance, I was always saddened by the fact that they said that anduin lothar was the last of the arathi lineage, without explaining any further
I think there’s a few groups in camp “WoW writing is bad”
Some of them might be open to changing their mind. Some of them wouldn’t budge no matter how good the story was.
